My room had a great layout and was very clean. The beach is right across the street from the hotel along with a playground for kids. I would have given this hotel a slightly higher rating if it was not for some of the maintenance work being done during my stay. I understand that work needs to be done but at 8am? "Location and Value"

"Hotel Ocean, Miami Beach"
Upon arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and nice. He upgraded our room from a deluxe city view, to an ocean view. We had two bathrooms, two flat screen tvs, and a kitchen. The room location was fantastic! We had a great view of the beach, ocean, and nightlife below. One downside was that there was loud music until about midnight and people […] were outside drinking and talking very loudly until 3 am. Since our room was on the front of the hotel we had many windows and could hear all the noise, which made it hard to sleep. Also, the beds could use an upgrade so we don't roll to the middle. All in all, this is a nice hotel. It's location on Ocean Drive is perfectly in the middle and was a very easy walk to things in any direction. We would definitely stay here again! "Amazing stay for my bacherolette!!"
This is a great budget hotel. It had everything you can ask for and is right across from the beach. The hotel room was clean, staff very friendly and the location dead center. The breakfast was mostly pastries and cereals, which I really enjoy after our late nights. The hotel offers free bike rentals, Towels and chairs...so much fun, and you can use […] the facilities at it's sister hotel free of charge. I traveled with girls and felt really safe. Great location and excellent helpful staff; I arrived very early and they were kind enough to take care of all my bags (and friends bags) for the day. The services was excellent. The comfort of the room was good, and the cleanliness was good also. The neighborhood and location are excellent. "Zusätzliche Kosten"
Das Hotel war direkt am Ocean Drive, ziemlich zentral. Uns störte nur, dass vor Ort für die drei Tage zusätzliche Kosten für das inbegriffene Frühstück anfallten. Pro Tag 15 Dollar plus dann noch Taxen. Zudem ist zu beachten dass das parkieren wenn man mit einem Auto anreist sehr teuer ist. Wir haben pro Tag 33 Dollar bezahlt, uns war es das Wert, denn […] so mussten wir nie nach einem Parkplatz suchen und unser Auto war an einem sicheren Ort. Perfekt läge nära stranden med trevlig personal. Tyvärr väldigt lyhört och då resturangen spelar musik och även har live musik med flamenco dansare det måste man tänka på. Dock slutar de spela runt midnatt. "Gute Lage, schlechtes Hotel"
Das Hotel Ocean liegt direkt am Ocean Drive. Der Zugang ist jedoch nur über eine Treppe, inmitten zweier Restaurants möglich. Der Empfang war unfreundlich und Informationen zB zum Frühstück erhielten wir nicht. Das Zimmer "Deluxe City view" war klein und der Blick in den Innenhof direkt an eine Hauswand. Das Badezimmer war gross aber nur sehr spärlich […] eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in einem stinkigen Teil eines Restaurantes aufgebaut, womit man wohl lieber draussen essen wird. Zudem ist "Buffet" übertrieben, so dass wir beschlossen haben unser Frühstück woanders einzunehmen. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert für Leute, welche an zentral(st)er Lage DEN Fun-Urlaub in Miami South Beach verbringen wollen. Ruhe suchende Feriengäste schauen sich lieber woanders um - an den Ocean Drive geht man nicht, um eine erholsame "Kugel zu schieben". Es gibt wesentlich ruhigere Stätten in Miami Beach. Das Hotel war erstaunlich sauber und […] flächenmässig sehr grosszügig - sei es für eine Junior Suite, sei es für einen Two Bedded Room. Service- und alle übrigen Hotelangestellten sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Empfang ist 24 Std. täglich besetzt und kann jederzeit bei Bedarf beansprucht werden. Der Zimmerservice ist täglich "on tour", auch Sonntags.
