"I just want what I paid for"
We reserved a king room on Hotels.com - when I got there to check in they said they were currently out of king rooms - I replied that I paid extra for the king bed - and what were they going to do for giving my reserved room to someone else? They then put me in a room that they said was a king (was actually a double bed) that I was handed pillow cases […] for the bed that I had to put on myself, they removed the dirty towels (said the room had only been used for the hot tub, I don't even want to KNOW what that was about) and handed a bag for the garbage that he emptied when we walked into the room. "Please beware!"
The room in general was OK. The air conditioner, refridgerator, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did NOT work. There were no other rooms that we could be moved to. (it was extremely hot and humid) I was told that a maintainance man would come to our room...at 10 PM I put the "do not disturb" sign on the door and we gladly checked out at 7 AM. "Expencive for what they have to offer"
The hotel guests are loud, the staff in the morning too. The bed was the worse I ever slept on,the mattress on the side had nasty spots.Overall I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.My advice is spend the extra $ 20 -$ 30 and get a decent place to stayGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good staff, lousy hotel"
The staff was very responsive and kind, but the walls were paper thin and the entire hotel smelled of smoke. They couldn't get the smoke smell out of the walls. It needs a complete renovation. The price was very competitive though. You do get what you pay for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel & room had a old dirty look & feel. I expected to see mold, but I didn't look too close. No elevator, just a narrow, dark stairway(about 12 steps) to the 2nd floor. Room was small, difficult to move around with 2 people.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
