We have stayed at this hotel many times for family trips. We love it! There were small maintenance issues (loose pegs on hanging racks, not enough hot water in second bathroom), but nothing that bothered us greatly. The only downside to staying here, is the location. You can't really walk to anywhere. It's not close to shops or most restaurants. 1. We stayed four nights at this location during their off-season near the end of October. The location was not busy. 2. We arrived at 3pm but the check-in time was at 4pm and we were not given access until then "because the room we were assigned was not ready". 3. We had to get replacement swipe cards several times because they simply quit working […] - and we didn't have them close tom our cell phones,etc. 4. Recognize this is a time-share location and the sales people called our room at least 8 times. 5. Our suite faced the airport so it was loud, especially being near the helicopter pad. 6. Room was exceptionally clean. 7. Lastly, checkout time was at 10am. Two different staff members actually came to our door between 9 and 10am to see if we were out yet. In summary, nice facilities, friendly staff, but the location is not great and the operations at the motel need some tweaking as listed above. I would not go back, nor recommend. Sorry. Read more

I was soooo excited to get this booking for our family Fall break vacation - my husband was in from Afghanistan, and this was the first of a two week trip. He and I went on to Florida for our own trip the next week. I was told that this hotel was ocean front hotel. It's not. It has shuttle that takes us to ocean front but little hassle. Also, the hotel is very comfortable. Only thing is that a maintenance knocked on my door 5AM TO FIX MY AC THAT WAS WORKING. No one followed up to see what's happening so I called they said they went to wrong room AT 5 IN THE MORNING. The beds were very uncomfortable to sleep, I did not rest very good. There were several pools, but the pool water was hot, pointless for trying to cool off. They charge for movies, in which I thought should have been free with you stay. I wouldn't recommend this resort.

This was my first trip to Myrtle Beach so I wasn't sure about the location when I booked it. When we got there I was a little disappointed because it far from Down Town myrtle beach but after being there for 1 day, I realized that this was actually a great location. You have to drive just about everywhere anyway in Myrtle Beach so being away from the […] noise downtown was worth it. The rooms were very nice and clean. My family of 5 stayed in a 1-bedroom suite which was a stretch for us but the 2-bedroom was not available. The sofabed was very uncomfortable but what hotel has comfortable sofabeds? The main pool area was awesome and only a 1 minute walk from our room. They had activities throughout the week for adults and kids. It is really a great place to stay. Took my 11 and 15 yr old to get away for a few days and from the time we arrived the staff was wonderful and helpful. We never had an issue checking in/out and the villa was clean, updated and fully stocked with towels and supplies. All we had to bring was our clothes and groceries. The rooms were very nice. The housekeeping staff needs some training. Our floors were filthy. We had them come and scrub the kitchen and bathrooms. The carpet had many stains, and needed cleaned and the screened in porch needed cleaned! To stay here again I would have to be guaranteed this improvments had been made.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort -South Beach (Myrtle Beach). Our villa was very nice and clean and we had a great view overlooking the 40 person Hot tub. The resort itself was nice and had a large waterfall pool near the hot tub as well as a clubhouse indoor/outdoor pool with a hot tub and lazy river. it also offered a work […] out room, sauna, and game room on site.
