We stayed in a king sized bedroom on the 14th floor. I absolutely loved the view both entering the room and on your own private balcony. The parking garage was very convenient, (granted I had a smaller vehicle). I was rather secluded on the 14th floor which was nice, very quiet considering there was a dance convention in town with screaming little girls […] everywhere. Hotel amenities were up to par, we only went in the pool and hot tub one night but we loved the hot tub, and the pool was a little shallow (only 3' 6'') but still good size. Location couldn't have been better we could be anywhere we wanted to be in fiftten minutes or less, and walking distance to the piers were'nt that bad either, just bring some good shoes and you'll be fine. By far the best hotel you could get for your money we're already talking about going back agian. Read more

Beautiful place to stay! Oceanfront room which is a must if you enjoy the ocean! Pools and hot tubs clean and well kept. Room very clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. Full size stove, fridge, and above stove microwave clean and like new condition. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful!! Love this place and will definately stay again.

Very clean, and really liked the extra amenities that they had to offer. Took my little sister and husband to the sister hotels arcade and bowling and had a blast. Will most definitely book with hotel Blue next summer

Hotel is a little oudated but staff is great and we got a free game of bowling at their other hotel thats walking distance. Free breakfast woulda made it top notch but thank God there was an ihop near by.

We had a great stay! Staff was very polite and accommodating. We stayed in an ocean view one bedroom king suite room and were very satisfied with our stay. View was amazing and dishes were clean! And they make swans out of towels! Great for couples :)

Fantastic vacation! Working on a budget we chose the Hotel Blue Resort for its price, which allowed us to enjoy the other attractions Myrtle Beach has to offer. We could not have been more satisfied. Of course we did have a week of amazing weather which I don't believe the hotel any control over... or did they?

Despite some of the bad reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay at hotel blue. Im glad we did. We had great service. Early check in. Rooms were clean. Good music by the pool. Swim up bar definately awesome. Cheap room rates in late april. Overall good experience.

Not only where the accomodations excellent but the convenience of a multi-level parking (where you can park on the same level that you are staying) was great. I regret we were only able to stay 1 day and I plan to stay very soon.

I have to say this hotel was above our expectations. First we booked an ocean view room, but were quickly updated to an ocean front room, no complaints there. The view of the ocean was great!!! The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. We were in walking distance to everything we wanted to see and it was a great location […] on the beach. Room service was awesome and swept the room daily to get rid of the sand that collects on everything. We bowled for cheap at the sister hotel. We never used their pool however, because the one at Hotel Blue was a lot better. The kids spent a lot of time in the lazy river. Despite someone bombing beers from above at the children, it was fun. Older hotel but remodeled. The shower was like getting a full body massage. I couldn't believe the water pressure was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was there to work in town for a week and it was very soothing to hear the ocean each night.

We stayed there 9/23-26/2010 on the 8th floor ocean front room ! The room had a full kitchen and everything was great ! We would stay there again ! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

I went there expecting just a regular room, for my surprise my room was composed for full kichen, a small living room, porch, a spacious bathroom, and a good bedroom. Good clean staff. Useful private exit and entrace to/from the beach.Great Location.They have a great hot tub, good pool, relaxing lazy river and a nice music at pool area. Good restaurants […] and attractions around it. Helpful front desk staff. 8 min from/to the airport MYR. *No roaches at all* (at least at my room). The only bad thing was the smell of ciggarets on the elevators, but that's nothing because no one spend more than 2-3 min inside it. I'll come back at Hotel Blue Soon. Read more

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room, the amenities, and the friendliness of the hotel staff. I especially liked the size of the outdoors jacuzzi. It was huge. For once, I didn't have to worry about crowds. The pool temperature was always a nice warm temp and I loved the swim up pool bar. Everything was great, hotel room was one of the nicest I ever stayed at at the beach, nice clean simple. Hardwood floors in the room are alot better than other hotels with carpet. If there was a negative it would be, that we had 2 vehicles, and they could only give us 1 parking pass, but other than that this hotel was great.
