I've stayed here a few times before and have always been satisfied. They do charge $8.00 for self-park and $12.00 for valet parking per day, but that is a City mandated thing I was told, since they own the property where the parking deck is located. The only thing that I would recommend is the parking deck elevators were very filthy and should be cleaned […] daily. The interior of the hotel, including elevators were very clean. The location is excellent and even though it is a block off the beach, you still have an ocean view from one side of the hotel. Broadway at the beach is just a 1/2 mile from there with many good restaurants surrounding it...pretty much anywhere in Myrtle Beach is a restaurant. Beds are extremely comfortable. Great hotel. It's very clean, beds are extremely comfortable. I guess the only negative would be the parking fee of $8.00 per day, but you kinda expect that when you have to park in parking decks at hotels that are convention centers as well. This hotel has an upscale feel, with a nicely appointed lobby, and very nice rooms. Be sure to ask for an ocean view room; even though it's about three blocks back, the view is gorgeous. We checked the rate for this hotel on the phone after going to their website to see if they could do better, they said no, because the hotel was 90% plus booked, so we booked with hotels.com for much less.
