"Enjoyed the stay"

"Close to the beach"

The room they sent us to was full of cigarette smoke smell all over the room that was supposedly a non smoking room. Had to ask for a different room. Carpet was clean but dirty looking. It was in high season so the hotel was totally booked. Although understanding the hotel was at capacity the breakfast food was removed each day some 30 minutes or 20 minutes before it was suppose to be closed. The front desk allowed one to access a computer for airline booking which was very helpful, and the room was quite where one used the computer. "Not happy"
I never write a review but was so waiting to do this. First the hotel room and pool look nothing like pictures. I should have stayed at a cheaper hotel at least I wouldn't have expected much. The pool was ice cold the hot tub didn't work and remind you look NOTHING like pictures I am very upset with Expedia and hope they get better pictures.Oh and 2 […] strip clubs near hotel one next door lol. The person cleaning the room never refilled or cleaned everything I cleaned during my stay;) thanks;) the hot tub was messed up more like a warm bath jets sprayed you and sure didn't relax you. My best advice to you spend more money on a better hotel or less on one and expect nothing. Oh and the toilet needs fixed you shouldn't have to shake the handle everytime you go to the bathroom. The breakfast was acceptable, however the waffle station should have been placed separately from the rest of the food. It held up the line if you were not getting waffles. The gentlemen that checked us in was exceptional. House keeping was unbelievably poor. We checked in on Thursday and housekeeping did not come to our room until Monday. Every day […] we had to go to the front desk for wash clothes, towels and toiletries. We had to empty our own trash which resulted in a big black trash bag outside of our room for 3 days. We constantly told the front desk that not one was cleaning our room, emptying trash, removing dirty towels etc. they were apologetic but our room still did not get cleaned until I told the front desk on Monday that this is not acceptable. Only then three housekeepers with attitudes came to clean our room around mid day and did a poor job. This was by far the worse experience I have ever had with a hotel. "Satisfactory stay"
For the value of what we paid, this was acceptable. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean. Short drive to the beach. Unfortunately the hotel is located right (and I mean RIGHT) next door to a strip club, and across the highway there is another strip club. So it wasn't so nice having those establishments right there. I will […] say that we did not hear any loud noise or any disruptions from either club. The only big negative I can say is that the 'free" breakfast on Tuesday morning was a big zero. The breakfast is open until 9:30 am. We got there at 9:05 am and there was hardly anything left. They had run out of eggs, waffle mix, oatmeal and potatoes. The only thing left was 4 biscuits (that I watch a small boy take with his hands and then decide he didn't want it and threw it back into the warming pan), a couple of strips of bacon, and cold cereal. Even the yogurt was cleaned out. When we asked the kitchen staff if they could bring more food they acted frustrated with us for asking. One girl who was working the kitchen said "well we only serve until 9:30!" I said that we got there at 9:05 so we weren't really last minute. She did manage to bring out more eggs 15 minutes later but then she started cleaning everything up and taking what food was left, back into the kitchen. Made an emergency reservation at 3:30 a.m. during Bike Week and checked in an hour later. Tucked in by 5:00; the mattress was amazingly comfortable. Overslept and missed breakfast so the front desk suggested we help ourselves to the coffee and fruit that were still out. I noticed on my way out, that they had a bin of polishing cloths for the bikers […] to use during their stay. Since I only stayed 7 hours and slept 6 1/2 hours of that time, my experiences were limited.
