Situated on the beach, Camelot By The Sea by Oceana Resorts is a quarter mile (0.4 kilometers) from the Children's Museum of South Carolina. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is half a mile (one kilometer) from the hotel.

My friend and I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always recommended it. However this time the room was not up to your past standards. The bathtub nozzle was broken and continuously dripped, the bedspreads are in desperate need of new ones and people had been smoking in there prior to us and had put their cigarettes out on the patio wall […] and therefore it had a funny smell. Also you could hear water running between the rooms. This room is in need of updating and repairs. We would like to continue to stay there when we go but only if it gets better not in the condition this room was in. "Convenience, Convenience!! We'll be back!!"
My husband and I, and another couple went down this weekend. It was awesome! Everything is SO convenient. We litterly parked right at our hotel door, making it convenient to load and unload our luggage. We never had to move our vehicle, as everything was within walking distance. Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, Mini-Mart and the beach (of course) is at […] your backdoor. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff was curtious and very helpful in answering questions about the surrounding area. The only negative comment I have, is that the bulbs in the lights near bed, were blown in the lamps. "Room was awful"
Did not like the 4pm ck in time but waited until 5 and when got to our room there had been water damage and there was a huge fan set up blowing it dry. Cushions turned up on chairs and rug runner laying across furniture to dry. Called desk they sent a guy up and all he did was unplug fan and take it. Called desk again and they said they would check. […] Got tired of waiting went down and they did give us another room but it was on 2nd floor with no view. Did not seem concerned at all that things were not right. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not as nice as we expected for the money. Rips and tears in blankets and shower curtains. Room was right next to parking deck- could hear loud music and car alarms all night and morning. Just expected a lot more for how much we paid.
