Situated on the beach, Camelot By The Sea by Oceana Resorts is a quarter mile (0.4 kilometers) from the Children's Museum of South Carolina. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is half a mile (one kilometer) from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
This waterfront property features a a public beach with direct-access from the property and two pools. The outdoor area has a 90-foot (27-meter) free-form pool, a children's pool, a spa tub, and a sundeck. The glass-front covered area is equipped with a 70-foot (21-meter) free-form pool, a children's pool, and a 200-foot (61-meter) lazy river. Other on-site recreational amenities include a fitness center. The hotel gift shop also features boogie boards for outdoor entertainment. There is a business center available for guest use, and wireless Internet is accessible throughout the property. A 10-story parking garage is located on site with free parking for guests. Parking height restrictions apply.

"Great Stay."
Overall the stay was an A-. I was hoping for a little more comfort in the beds but that wasn't the case. The Hotel is so nice you would think they have better mattresses in the rooms. "A wonderful hotel experience"
We stayed at Camelot by the Sea from June 5th through June 8th, 2012. It was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and we are planning on returning soon. Camelot by the Sea will be our choice of hotel every time we return. We had a late check in on a Tuesday night, the staff was friendly upon our arrival. I requested to be placed on a different floor due to […] the reviews I have read and they easily were able to accommodate our request. The next morning my fiance told the front desk that there was no Do Not Disturb Sign and hairdryer when we arrived (not that we needed either but we were afraid we would be blamed for them missing). Less than a couple of hours later the staff was already at our door installing a new hairdryer and providing a new sign (and replacing the swipe card entrance which we didn't even know it was faulty). The view was amazing and absolutely perfect. The kitchen had everything we could want (even a blender for late night margaritas).
