The Hampton was only a 7 min drive from the airport and once in the resort we didn't hear planes flying over. The resort was located on the beach. Trip Advisor was RIGHT!! This hotel is simply wonderful. It appears new, with 9 pools (4 indoor), free breakfast, and 2 bedroom suites with full kitchens. The city has A LOT of hotels and most of them has "good features" but are really old and not nice at all. So something that looks nice in the internet may not be what you were expecting. I loved this hotel, it was everything I had read about and more. The breakfast int he morning is delicious and a perfect way to save money for other things. It is located directly on the beach and the pools are as advertised. The rooms were very comfortable and big enough for our family of 3 to be able to have space to move around. Don't bother paying […] for an ocean front room unless that is something you REALLY want becuase our ocean view room had a beautfiul view. The balcony is perfect for morning relaxation before the family wakes up. It is located in close proximity for a lot of activities. We had a great time and we will defenitely be going back. The outdoor snack bar even re-opened (in this off season) because the hotel was expected to be quite full.
