"Smells"
I arrived Sunday evening and stayed till Wednesday. I opened the door to my room and this awful smell hit us in the face. I thought maybe it was because the room had not been used and shut up for a long time so we left for a few hours came back and it was even worse. I went down to front desk and asked for spray that didnt work. Im not the one to complain […] so we slept through it. Next day we tried to stay gone all day but it rained. We brought food back to the room and the smell made me gag to the point I couldn't eat so I called front desk advise girl I couldn't take it and she gave me another room. "close to everything we wanted to do."
The room was clean and the beds really comfortable. Loved the breakfasts, it was better than any other hotel we stayed at. "Nice stay but upset about pet charge"
The hotel was nice, clean and comfy but we were not told about extra fee for pet before booking. Hard to say no to a fee if arrive with dog and they now want to charge u an extra $53 fee for dog a very small dog. Doesn't make sense and what I would say "not" pet friendly! The room was better than expected after reading some reviews. Location is very good. Room was a little small and beds were small (2 full size); Price was higher than other nearby hotels for the same type room in the same neighborhood. "Holiday Express Inn @ Broadway"
I spent 6 nights @ this hotel on our first visit to Myrtle Beach with my wife and 2 teenage sons. The hotel was ideally situated just over the road from Broadway @ The Beach, which is a safe environment to enjoy cinema's , restaurants and generally keeping families entertained. The hotel backed onto highway 17 which took you into the easy to access […] shopping and restaurants. Turn left from the hotel and continue down 29th avenue to the beach, 5 minutes in a car. The breakfast varied each day, with cereal and pastries aswell as hot eggs and bacon. Small pool overlooked a lake and was very pleasant to sit & relax. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.
