When we first got to Clarion we were taken back by the outside look of the hotel. As soon as we walked in we were happy we booked here. Overall look was nice and rooms with balcony river view was worth it. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent service"
Im very happy with my stay at Clarion hotel, it was very clean, excellent customer service, I was amazed with the buffet breakfast, very nice to have indoor and outdoor pools plus a jacuzzi the only thing I wasn't too happy with is the elevator is very slow and they only have one :( so therefore we had to keep taking up and down the stairs .....and […] my noisy next door hotel neighbor ! "Not too far but not in the mix either...."
We enjoyed our stay.... Breakfast was nice and fulling. It's about 8 miles to the beach and 4 miles to the Broadway.... It's in the cut but not too close for comfort. The beds were spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was very accomodating and the pool was opened until 11 pm. Walmart is within 5 mintues from the hotel as well. "Trying to be a nice hotel in a not-so-great area"
I believe that they are starting renovations of this hotel, and it definitely could use a make over. The reception area, restaurant/breakfast area, and pool are nice. Reception staff were a bit rude for a tourist area; not completely right out rude, but a little stand-offish. The breakfast crew were very efficient, and the food was good. The rest of […] the hotel was old and smelled so. The room was extremely clean though; better cleanliness than most hotels we've been to! The location is in a very sad part of Myrtle Beach; almost everything is closed down/out of business.
