Lobby was inviting and staff was very pleasant. We had a nice room which is expected of Holiday Inns...clean, comfortable, good internet service. Location was perfect, near function that we attended in Yarmouth and close to the shops of LL Bean. Morning breakfast lacked a few things...juice machine was not working; but, staff went out and bought juices. […] Pancake machine was not working (I think it needed filling; but, staff was busy with juice and check outs). This hotel is very convenient to Freeport shopping. Physically the hotel was very good. The breakfast is another story. Cardboard eggs,usual breads, cinnamon buns very sweet, coffee weak. If I stayed here again I would have breakfast at the Sunshine Cafe across the street and pay for it

The rooms were like new and very comfortable. It was quiet and very clean. The upkeep of the hotel was perfect. The front desk was not staffed much of the time (especially when we checked out) but not a deal breaker. The 'breakfast' left much to be desired, however. The Holiday Express Inn in Freeport was perfect for our needs for the weekend we spent there. This is a pretty new hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Only 1 big negative: the pool and excercise rooms close at 8 p.m., which is unusually early. On my recent vacation, I stayed in 9 hotels. The earliest the pool closed was 10 p.m at the other hotels.

We have a family of 5 and stayed overnight to enjoy sightseeing. The kids loved the indoor pool - a luxury for early spring in New England. The kids also loved the automatic pancake maker the hotel had for their breakfast buffet. All 3 kids ate well and that never happens with our picky eaters!

This is a very handy hotel if your shopping in Freeport and the outlets. Also if you want to play a round of golf a nice little course is very close by with in 5 min or less. So while the women shop ~ the boys can golf ~ a good little mix.

We picked this hotel because we have never had a "bad" stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Our room, and the rest of the motel, was emaculate. (I am very pickie about a motel I will stay in and I could not find one thing wrong with this one) From check in to check out the staff was professional, curtious, and helpful.(One staff member even found out the […] brand of orange juice used at breakfast because my daughter liked it so much.). The motel is also right down the street from the Freeport Outlets (Which is what we were looking for). Check in is at 3pm which is pretty late. We would have prefered to check in earlier and relax after our road trip. Don't let them give you a room near the elavator, it banged all night! This is a newer hotel and is centrally located to the attractions. There is a Wal Greens within 100 FT.. Also accross the street is a large shopping area with a TJ max in it , also many eatteries in walking distance, also LL Bean outlet store. Well worth price.

Only complaint was our room was next to the freeway and the constant noise was very annoying and hard to fall asleep. They should invest in a sound barrier between the hotel and the freeway.

About what I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express...nothing too fancy, but nothing bad either. Slow time, so the hotel was almost empty. Our room looked out to the interstate a little bit away, but it's not busy. The room was quiet, and everything worked. We needed to call for bath towels once, and they brought one too few (which we didn't notice […] until showering the next morning -- kids had to share). Only other nit was I thought the pillows were too soft. That said, I sleep on a tempurpedic pillow at home, so I usually think pillows are too soft wherever I go. A perfectly acceptable hotel for a short stay. Very comfortable king size bed, firm mattress, both firm and soft pillows. Our room was quiet, no noise intruded from hallways or other rooms. The room, service, location, etc. were all great. The hot breakfast food was terrible - it was either sickeningly sweet or taste defrosted! Ugh! The cold breakfast food was fine, just like everywhere else.
