"Freeport"
Overall the hotel was nice. However the entire hotel smelled of bleach and chlorine. We were unable to sleep and were coughing all night and our eyes were burning. We were unable to use the towels, we had to lay our sweatshirts over the pillows so we could sleep, the bleach was very strong. "NO Manager in Site!"
We arrived 5 of us and had two hotel rooms. Evreything looked clean when we checked in then we started unpacking and noticed the shower was dirty wrappers on the floor, dusty corners, a silly band by the head board. We could't figure out the heat. We complained and she sent a maintance guy to clean the shower with a spray bottle and a rag. She never […] offered us a new room, she told us the manager would be in the next morning. We left at 10 never saw him. Called at 4 he was not there. "Never Again!"
Called six times on our way to the hotel to get directions, kept getting a vocemail system saying sorry. After checking-in, found that Rt. 295 was about 30 feet from our room (very noisy). Decided to go to the pool/hot tub. Hot tub was COLD. Needless to say - did not bother using the pool. Next time I would drive more north and stay at the Senator Inn […] in Augusta, ME.
