I chose this hotel because of the it's location (which is very close to the Freeport shopping outlets). My stay here was nice. My room was clean and the room set up was comfortable. People who expect the Ritz for one hundred bucks a night are foolish. This is a clean comfortable hotel a minute or two from the freeway, and a stone's throw from from the quaintest outlet store mall I've ever seen. (The huge LLBean outlet is a block away from the stores on the main street.) The google map for this hotel is wrong; it's off exit 22, […] south of Freeport. Room located on bottom floor of stairway to upper floor which became very loud, causing our dog to bark from 4am on. But traveling through Maine twice in Sept. and Oct. and shopping in the outlet stores of Freeport it seemed like a convenient choice on both occasions. And sure it enough, I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is near the end of the main road for shopping, it is across from a bar/steakhouse. But its very quiet. The hotel is older but clean, the staff were nice, the tv's are old and fuzzy, but I went there for shopping, not to watch TV. We were pleasantly surprised by this budget motel - rooms were spacious & clean - service was friendly - location was only minutes from downtown Freeport.
