"I felt like I camped in the woods"
Dirty floors, smelled Awful, even in the middle of the night after I was hoping to get used to the smell. The bathroom floors and tub were horrid, couldn't even take a shower and wouldn't let my daughter walk around the room without shoes. The beds were stiff cheap mattresses... We we're stuck in a smoking room since that was all they had left but the entire hotel felt disgustingly dirty. Our room stunk to high hell. Even the bedsheets stunk. It was difficult to even let the sheets touch our skin. Alarm clocks were totally broken and showed letters instead of numbers. "The Super 8 Hotel in Freeport - would not recomend"
Our stay at the Super 8 was an overall bad experience! We are smokers but I have stayed in many smoking rooms in my day and this one buy far was the worst ever. As I said we are smokers but we couldn't even tolerate how bad the smoke smell of the room was. Also the room was filthy and looked like it hadn't been repainted for many, many years. Very noisey […] due to the highway being right behind us which probably could of been tolerated if the room would of been nice! There were cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere, towels were dingy, the shower head was filthy, the screen was all smashed like someone tried to break in, no snack machines just an overall bad hotel to stay in. The TV set and the bathroom are really items of the past. Flat screens are now available!!! The bath was not as clean as expected.
