It's a fairly clean and comfortable place to stay if you don't want to pay the higher prices in downtown. The area isn't bustling nearby, but it's a good location for Cow Palace. Breakfast consisted of cereal, coffee and orange juice, yogurt, and packaged danishes. CONS - I have a few qualms about my experience: There were dried blood stains on my bed […] sheets...I placed the card down on the bed to change the sheets but the maid just fixed my bed with the same blood stains. The shower had a crack in the floor that let water seep through to a soft spot on the floor and what I assume would cause mold. There's no central heating or cooling, and bathroom can get a bit cold. The "soap" and lotion is from dispensers (both are awful as expected), but there's no distinguishing between shampoo or soap, so I suggest you bring your own. No counter space in the bathroom. PROS - There was another room for the second bed, which was very nice. Free breakfast in the morning. Free parking. Free wi-fi (even though slow). In-room refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is at a quiet location at the side of a hill, rooms are small but quaint, sound-proofness between rooms could be much better. Breakfast was minimal but good enough to get you going. This hotel was definitely one of the best I've ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the beds are SO comfortable, and the service is great. I liked how the hotel was kind of a haven away from the business of San Francisco, although there is a bit of a drive to get to the city. I'd definitely stay here again if given the chance!

Pros: the staff were very, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cute and different and the motel itself was clean inside and out. Good price for the location. Cons: the room stank of cleaning products (it almost smells like an indoor pool when you open the door into a room). Had to leave a window open. We stayed one night in mid-April. It's obvious the rooms are being upgraded. The room ambiance was quite nice, and very quiet. Be aware that the rooms are situated along a hill which requires you to drive or walk up quite a grade. The motel was in a very quite area. Lovely potted flowers.No freeway noise. Our unit actually had 2 rooms. Beds very comfortable. Showers are basic but clean. The rate included breakfast which was mainly cereal and pastries. You have to get your food and take it to the room since there is no dining area. Overall it was great.

Stayed there to be close to San Francisco State University. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful with directions, etc..Unfortunately, paper thin walls resulted in hearing loud neighbors. Very noisy heater and refrigerator. Had to unplug both to get some sleep. Probably won't stay there again.

This was only two miles from out kids so it was extremely convenient to see them. There are no restaurants other then fast food close to the motel. The continental breakfast was extremely limited. Okay upon driving around Daly City, my first thought was "Super Ghetto" a lot of sketchy people in the area, but once inside the room i was actually kind of surprised by how comfortable it was, it had a coffee pot, microwave and a mini refrigerator which was very convenient. Now that we know the city better we would not stay there. We went there due to visiting San Francisco State University. We would look for a location between san Fran and the University. Good breakfast items. Managers polite and accomodating for extra blankets. Small towels in the bathroom.

The room was clean and tidy and they cleaned it daily. No insects, no stains, no bad smell. The room equipment is slightly worn-out visually but all functioned well. Originally I was slightly scared by a bullet-proof (?) glass separating a lobby person from me - but despite multiple late returns I found the neighborhood quite calm and safe. The hotel was everything I expected it to be. The place was exactly as my title says: clean, convenient, and cozy. I missed a 4th "C" too: CHEAP! The rate was a lot lower than any of the surrounding hotels and was most likely better than them. Go to this hotel! End of story.

It's like you are staying in a little tiny village comprised of mini duplexes. Each room has a walk-up entrance and parking may be available right in front for convenience. Although the building structures are a bit older, they feature arched nooks, updated decor, microwave, refrigerator and a tv (CRT). The rooms are clean and they provide wall heating […] and possibly a mini personal heater as well. The bathrooms tend to be very cold, I would suggest bringing lounge slippers and a warm robe. The room rate includes a humble free breakfast (packaged pastries, cereal and Starbucks coffee). There is no official business center, but they will be willing to print items for you. You will have to email them the document, so I wouldn't print anything that contains sensitive information. The location is in Daly City, which can be 20-30 minutes from downtown San Francisco with traffic. It may also be anywhere from 30-60 minutes to areas in Silicon Valley. Overall, it was a clean and comfy place to stay. I would recommend this budget friendly establishment for any one that needs a central location between SF and SV. Read more

Next time I would weigh paying extra money to have a room closer to downtown and then not spend the time and money on the BART or local bus service. We arrived at the hotel an hour before check in and was told we couldn't check in early because the room was being cleaned (completely understandable) but when we did check in, the sink was dirty and there was trash in the trash can. The toilet paper holder had less than half a roll as well. Also, the upkeep of the hotel wasn't great. All the awnings […] had mold which didn't feel like a good way to start. The remote to our tv didn't work. On the flip side, the people were very friendly helpful. When we wrre unable to check in early, they offered to take my cell phone and call me as soon as our room was ready, and they did.
