"Review of Lemontree Oceanfront Cottages"
There was no beach on which to walk, but a beach was advertised. In addition, no comfortable seating was available in the kitchen/TV room, just a dilapidated sofa. The tile in the shower was not clean, and the noise of the traffic coming off the hill on Road 429 was thundering. I left after the first night, telling Bella, the owner, that I was unhappy […] because there was no beach on which to walk. Her husband asked where I had different accommodations, and I told him Rincon by the Seas, which was close by. He told me that he had photographs displayed there and that I would "be comfortable there." He was right. There was plenty of sandy beach on which to walk! I would never recommend Lemontree Oceanfront Cottages to anyone! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Lemontree Oceanfront Cottages The beach at the Lemontree is a natural beach. When you live by the sea you come to accept the beach that nature presents to you each day. It is a rare day that our beach, due to rough weather conditions, is unsuitable for walking or swimming. During the 2012 Christmas, New Years and Three Kings holiday time, local politicians (2012 is an election year) and families, sponsor holiday parades. We probably had at least six Santa Claus and Three King parades and several family parandas (musical parades with traditional Puerto Rican Christmas music, sort of like caroling). These festivities bring the joy of the season and the zest of the island past our front door. Parades seldom last more than a few minutes each and then the tranquility of the oceanside returns. On the Expedia website page, both the traveler photographs and professional photographs are current and show the interiors' furnishings. There is not a dilapidated sofa among them. We maintain our furniture and are very careful with housekeeping.
