"suites hotel nice this close to old town"
The hotel needs maintenance, not major things, just minor things. Sofa sleeper in room was really bad. The frame supporting the mattress had x wiring between the cross frame members. Almost unbearable to sleep on. The arms of the sofa were dirty from years of use without effectively cleaning. The lamp shade was broken and stained. "Close enough to beaches"
Hotel was not as nice for the money we paid, but it was alright otherwise. Likely won't stay again, regardless. Front desk staff were very friendly. Cleaning staff gave us some grumpy looks in the morning for some reason. TV signal in our room was very bad. Toilet backed up both nights of our stay, overflowing the second night. Staff were appoligetic, but evening shift are not set up to address the problem indicating it would be corrected by staff in morning and handed us a plunger and towels. "Stay was okay"
I was a disappointed in this Country Inn and Suites. I have stayed at them twice before but not this location. Very dated, not very clean, positives: comfortable bed, great towels, nice very hot shower! "The broken down room not worth the money!!!!"
The bathroom needs an update. The shower was very short for my husband. You could also see where the bathroom above ours had leaked down and you could see where the walls had been torn apart. Then my child went to sit on the pull out sofa bed and fell through it. The staff came with 2 springs to fix it and some rope but, you would think that this would […] have been check out and fixed before we checked in because there were 2 adults and 3 kids on the reservation. I choose the hotel becuase of location to attractions. The location was misleading. The room needed updating, The A/C vent was black from either dust or mold and the carpets were frayed. "NOT what I expect from a Country Inn"
I have stayed at Country Inn's before and have always been very pleased! However, I will NEVER go back to this one. The girl at the reception counter when we arrived seemed less than thrilled to be at work, nor did the girl who checked me out the next morning. I couldn't get the internet to work and it took several attempts at calling downstairs, before […] I walked down and found her just sitting there....the phone even rang when I was looking at her and she ignored it. The room itself was tidy and the beds comfortable, though the desk top was completely warped (could not lay my laptop on it...so warped it fell to one side) and I have seen truck stop bathrooms cleaner than ours.....There was old urine stains at the base of the toilet and floor (OBVIOUSLY there) and filth all over the tiles...like someone attempted to clean with dirty, black water and dripped it everywhere. I was so disgusted I showered with my socks on. As I mentioned..I have stayed at County Inns all around and have always been pleased with service and accomodations....this one would be fine if they would fire their entire staff and hire people who care about their jobs! "Decent location, hotel Ok for one night"
Hotel was in a good location - close to historic district. Breakfast was a little crowded - need to lose the waffle machine, too many people waiting around by the food.
