This was a very nice hotel and most affordable. The only complaint I had was that I had to stand in the lobby for 30 minutes to check in. There was only one person behind the desk and when I finally got to the desk and said that they really needed more help, he told me that it is always only him. Hotel is easy to find from the highway, area is safe, beds are comfortable. Hotel is in good repair. Staff members were all very nice. Pool and hottub were clean. Way overpriced. Freeway exit location. Recent renovation of older hotel. HVAC was old wall unit instead of modern central system. Bathtub had been redone with a drop-in shell that left the tub so narrow that I could barely fit (and I'm not wide). Bathroom fan roared so loud I ended up turning it off to bathe in the dark. Our stay was very pleasant. Traveling ten hours with a five year old is hard. The staff were helpful and supportive. The rooms were clean and fresh. And the heated indoor pool was a big hit with my five year old. As were the Doubletree cookies. We will make The Doubletree our Beaverton favorite for future trips.

We stayed In Portland for my little boy to have surgery, overall the stay was great. Beautiful corner room, fairly quiet, super friendly staff & we were very impressed with the free breakfast! The only thing we didn't like was the beds. They were pretty hard. But I think we will stay there again!

They were doing a remodel of the hotel during my stay but I was never inconvenienced by noise or service interruption. Staff were were very helpful and pleasant. Continental breakfast was good.However, It was VERY difficult to find as it isn't really on Cornell Rd, nor are there signs once you are off the highway.

our stay at the Phoenix was great except for the breakfast. They are remodeling so I will cut them some slack and excuse their breakfast entrees. The young man running the breakfast room was a good person to talk to about the renovation and more than made up for this minor inconvience.

Stayed on a Sunday night. was only in the hotel for about 10hrs. It was clean and comfortable. Did not try the breakfast. Beware there is no food or delivery in the area after 10pm. Bummer.....

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was conveniently located off the interstate with easy access to Beaverton and Portland locations. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. The rooms are fairly new, ample in size, and clean with easy & speedy internet log-in. I would definitely stay there again.

Upon checking in we were told they were out of king beds for both of our reservations. While we got two queens, we were disappointed. The room could have been cleaner--counter top behind coffee pot was full of large dust bunnies. And the fan in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. Stayed here while visiting relatives in the area; had never stayed at a Phoenix property before, but would stay again. Room was clean and spacious and bed was comfy- not too firm or soft. We had a first floor room facing the freeway exit, but didn't hear much traffic noise. Windows can be opened, which is nice, but we found ours unlocked. Free wi-fi […] worked well. Minor complaint: I didn't like that the vanity/sink is across from the bed, and not in the bathroom or separate area, and that the bathroom light and fan share the same switch. Had trouble with the keys; we needed to get new keys twice from the front desk. The room was pretty spacious, and the fridge and microwave were a great convenience for us. The rooms were quiet. The pool was quite nice for the kids. Not much of an exercise room, but we ended up not using it as we hiked quite a bit during the day.
