"Never again!"
We had a late check in due to bad weather, after a long (9 hour) drive we got to our room on the 4th floor and it was a king not a double queen, which was our reservation. Called down to the desk and were told to come back to the desk and get another key. We did, and were sent back to the 4th floor. So after lugging our luggage up and down and up again, […] we got into our room at 11:45 pm and were assailed by an overwhelming smell of BO, yes body odor! Yuk! However we were exhausted so I turned the ac on and it dissipated the smell a bit (either that or we got used to it). However after leaving in the morning and coming back in I was once again assailed by the smell. We only had one soap in the bathroom so it had to swap between the sink and the tub, yuk! An to top it off, we forgot one toothbrush and toothpaste and I WAS CHARGED FOR A TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE. I have never been charged for that before. The breakfast buffet didn't start until 7:00 so we were unable to try that. I don't know what the charge for it was. I'll stay at the Marriott Courtyard next time. This is a monthly trip and I won't make this mistake again to only save a few dollars. On the upside, the bed was comfortable. That's about the only positive I've got. "Friendly staff, uncomfortable beds."
The hotel was clean and nice looking. Staff members were nice and helpful. Beds were uncomfortable, no variety in pillows (soft vs firm), and refrigerator didn't work. We received an upgrade to a suite with the King adjustable bed (at no cost) which was nice. We slept much better after we moved to the suite. But there was a loud dripping sound coming […] from the wall when the shower was on. We were disappointed that the breakfast cost $11. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hilton Garden in Beaverton"
The cons: We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a roll away bed. When we got to then hotel the front desk person that we talked to said that the room we reserved was unavailiable. Instead, she told us we could have a room with a king bed, a fold out couch and a roll away. However the catch was we could only have it for 2 nights out of our 3 night […] stay... After that we would have to go into a room with 2 queens only and our 5th person would be without sleeping accommodations since the hotel was full. We accepted the room offered to us since we were tired from driving over 10 hours from California. At the time this employee was not very helpful and seemed put out that we kept questioning her. When we spoke again regarding our room situation (the morning of the day we were either supposed to move in to the dual queen room) they told us it was fine for us to stay in the room we were already in. Although the outcome was fine, this whole debacle left us with an unfavorable feeling towards the front desk staff. Also, several requests to have the room serviced were also unheeded. When we asked to have the sheets on the pull out bed changed (it had crumbs and other debris on it) the front desk told us that they would have to charge us for it. Needless to say we had just checked in, it should have already been cleaned. They brought us new sheets for it but we had to change it ourselves. The pros: The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff there was helpful and professional. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"standard hotel"
This hotel is nothing extravagant (typical lower end corporate) but it is clean, comfortable, staff is very nice. Pool is small but good. Location is not not great (very suburbian, sterile suroundings). If you don't care about the high design and slightly remote location it is a very decent and comfortable hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location for the Oregon Zoo"
Terrible hotel -- we will never stay here again and definitely don't recommend it to anyone!!! My family of 5 rolled in at 8:00 pm to a room where the A/C didn't work. After getting settling in, and finding out the maintenance couldn't do anything about it until the next day, we were moved to a "suite". I wouldn't call it much of a suite. The decor […] is old and drab. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The guest laundry facilities were horrible!!! There was only one working dryer and it took over 2 hours to dry our clothes.... we wouldn't normally do laundry while on vacation, but when you have a 6 week old baby, you don't really have a choice. The pool was tiny. Housekeeping jipped us on towels. I could go on and on. The overall experience was terrible!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
