Our accommodations were much better than I expected for the price. With a kitchenette we were able to eat in and relax with the kids. With a sitting room with sofa bed separated by a door to the master bed, we had space for sleepers and playing children. When a maintenance issue came up, staff was quick and friendly. Only a few miles from downtown Portland but the service, quality and cleanliness make the drive to downtown worth!. We were very pleasantly surprised by the clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms (living-room, kitchen, bedroom). The complimentary breakfast had a good choice of food; my wife even made her own waffles! We look forward to staying at Homewood Suites in the future. We were in need of a hotel last minute and this one was available. It not only had everything we wanted, but there were things we didn't even expect. "Family Vacation"
We were a party of six - family vacation. Our stay was very enjoyable. Nice comfortable rooms, spacious enough for all of us. Very clean and quiet. Great breakfast - we sat out on the patio by the pool because the weather was so warm and sunny. Lots of near by places to eat. Not right in Portland city but that was OK with us. "One of the best hotels we've stayed in"
After checking reviews on this web site we reserved 3 rooms in this hotel for a family holiday weekend with our sons and their wives, one family with three small children aged 5, 3 and 3 months. All of us were extremely satisfied. The room worked well for the family with three kids. The older two kids slept on the sofa bed in the separate living room. […] A pak'n'play crib was provided for the baby. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast had enough selection that all of us were able to find something to eat. It was especially appreciated by the family with the children. The in-room refrigerator was an added convenience. "Great hotel with no wifi in room"
We love the hotel and all the props that come with it. Hotel.com mistakenly booked us in a smoking room, and although sold out the staff really made effort in moving us to a non-smoking room. It would be perfect if wifi was available in our room. Our room was close enough to the lobby that it still gets the wifi signal.
