The lady at the check in desk was eating sunflower seeds, turned to spit out the seeds & used her hands, then touched our key cards, my Drivers License....yuck! Sanitary issues need to be reviewed with check in staff. Room was good. Tv is old and it took about 45 minutes for it to warm up to color. Good location, quiet considering close to the airport. We chose this hotel because it had good reviews and a pool. My children look forward to the pool more than anything. When we checked in, we were disappointed to find the pool was closed. The guy at the desk seemed uninterested that we were disappointed even when we asked when it would be open again. He said he would find out later and call our room. […] He was rude and seemed annoyed that I even asked. I stay there often for my V.A. appointments down the street. its always good . I would only make two suggestions. 1. Fix the hole in the ceiling in the bathroom of 117 and stop burning the sausages at breakfast 2. keep the hot tub and pool fixed.

Staff is rude. The front desk clerk made a comment that I intrepid as being racial. Breakfast was empty and staff was slow to refill. Beds are comfortable. Whirlpool needs to be cleaned with a good scrubbing. Pool heater was broken.

Stay was very comfortable. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate for the price paid for the room. Reasonably close to the University of New Mexico, but a car is needed in Albuquerque. i'll stay again.

My stay here was adequate to my needs: a place close to the airport for an early morning flight. Despite being a non-smoking facility, the bedroom smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Breakfast doesn't open until 6:30, so I didn't get to have any of the food included in the price. Also, the 5:00 a.m. shuttle I had requested the night before still hadn't […] arrived at 5:10 a.m. I asked the manager on duty if the shuttle was usually on time. She said yes, and only then did she call the company and found out I hadn't been on the pickup list A cab arrived promptly, but since I was expecting a shuttle, the cab was about to leave before I mentioned it to the manager, and she said, that's your shuttle! I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The rooms was comfortable and had everything I needed. It is a nice bargain when comparing it to places of similar quality, but much higher prices. The free breakfast was of good quality and got me off to a good start moving out of my apartment (this hotel made my move much less painful than it could have been […] and I was grateful for that). Having stayed at several airport-area Albuquerque hotels, I've liked this one the most.as the best value for the money. In terms of cleanliness and appearance, it's a far cry above several others. The free breakfast was substantially better than I expected, and the room was both spacious and pleasant. I arrived late and had to leave early, so missed the breakfast, but the front desk let us take some oatmeal packets and hot chocolate for our early morning flight. Also, even tho the shuttle runs from 5 am on, I needed an earlier shuttle. No problem. They were waiting to take me to the airport, even before 4 am. Rooms are clean and nice. The hotel was convenient from the highway. The room was large enough for myself (I was alone) but for the 5 day and 4 nights I was there, I was thinking I was getting a mini-suite. I was expecting a suite like the photo showed...King size bed with wall divider and sofa. But what I got was a large room with king size bed, mini fridge and micro. Wonderful Beds and pillows. I stayed in a "plush" hotel in Portland, OR this summer and this bed reminded me and my travel partner of that experience for a whole lot less. (And that hotel didn't have pool/hot tub or exercise room!) We enjoyed our stay here better. The room smelled funny when we first would come in, but after a few minutes we were used to it. If you are passing through town, this hotel works just fine. The rooms are reasonably priced and were recently upgraded. Restaurants are close but the neighborhood gets a little sketchy a couple blocks away.

Good service for a 2 1/-star hotel. Acceptable breakfast included, free wi-fi, free newspapers in lobby in the morning. My only negative comment is that my first-floor room had a stench, perhaps due to wet carpet or chair (or wet cigar/tobacco). With the A/C I didn't realize how bad it was until the second day that I smelled my clothes outside the room, […] and later I realized my suitcase and backpack were impregnated with the stench as well.
