"Family get-away!"
My family and I went to Albuquerque for a Gymnastics competition, and we loved this hotel... It is a nice hotel for the price with nice facilities. My children loved the pool at 6:30am. "Need Better Front Desk Staff and Key System"
Owner was nice unfortunately the older woman- desk staff was rude and snoby- she did not seem to care if we returned or not. Unfortunately many people who are not in ownership of the business’ they work for do not care about the companies they work for. When you own the hotel you want your guest treated well -because you want them to return. Hopefully […] the front desk staff will be different when we return or well stall next door or across the street and check back. The key system did not properly key the cards. This is okay happens all the time- but desk staff because angry with me and even tossed my keys at me a few times. This treatment is outrageous!. "Nice and New, Great Beds"
I was overjoyed by the condition, price, cleanliness, service, etc. It was especially nice to discover the really great beds. After days of traveling and some pretty hard and awful beds, this hotel was a godsend. For the first time in days I didn't have a sore back and aching hips. My only complaint is that there really weren't any restaurants close enough to walk to except for an Applebee's which was swamped with people coming from the numerous hotels in the area. "Quiet neighborhood"
We stayed here for 8 days due to medical reasons. This was close to UNM Medical Center but far enough away from the busy streets. The breakfast was good ranging from eggs and sausage to biscuits and gravy, and of course there were four types of cold cereal. Front desk personnel were helpful and customer service oriented. The toilet leaked after a few days and the desk clerk came up within a short time and fixed it himself. The area is close to the airport but there is no airport noise. The front of the hotel faces the rising sun over the mountains while the rear of the building faces the setting sun. It […] is easy to navigate around Albuquerque and beyond from this location. Being close to the airport is a plus when needing to catch an early flight and/or having to drop off a rental car. Eggs, tater tots and biscuits with gravy were offered every day as well as the usual cereal, muffins, fruit, juice and coffee. The coffee station is open 24 hrs. a day. everything was tip top. The very best thing that happened was that my daughter lost her iPod in the airport shuttle on 3/19. She called back and they held it for us until we could come pick it up. This motel is close to the airport, Kirtland Air Force Base, and Interstate 25. There's not much in the area for tourists; I don't think there's any tourist attraction within walking distance. The motel does have a good-sized, sufficiently warm, indoor swimming pool. Kids enjoy it. There's also a nice hot tub. There's a guest computer in the lobby. […] I didn't test the WiFi on this trip. The free breakfast includes some hot items. The exercise room has a few specimens of the typical cardiovascular equipment. You won't be near Old Town, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Sandia Peak Tramway, museums, or petroglyphs. However, the fact that you are close to Interstate 25 means that you can drive to most of those attractions in about 15 minutes (except the tramway. Plan a half-hour drive for that one).
