"Great Vacation!"
This was the perfect hotel for us for our getaway. It is a quaint hotel and very fitting for Key West. The pool was very nice and very relaxing. "A GREAT first visit!"
We really enjoyed our stay here at Alexander Palms Court. From our first impression, we knew we had made the right choice! In the office, we were greeted with a warm smile by Landon. He was quite the Conch! He gave us numerous recommendations for who/what/when/where to visit. The pool area was very nice and relaxing. The water was wonderful after walking […] Duval St all day. In the evening the pool was very peaceful, and the lighting was wonderful. We found that the room was definitely cozy. The floors were terrazzo with lustrous shine (be careful if the floor gets wet, very slippery). Bathroom was small but very usable, typical for a 1950's style room. Location was quiet, and peaceful. It is a long walk to the busy end of Duval St. and Mallory Square. My only regret is that we didn't stay another night, driving down from St Petersburg, (7.5hrs) we lost valuable relaxation time. When we checked in, we got an excellent recommendation on local beaches. They also supplied a map. Loved the small, family feel of the property. The room was nice, had a small efficency kitchen and comfortable bed. The shower was small but the water hot. The location was great. We have stayed numerous times in Key West, and this was close to walk to Duval but far enough away to be quiet. One thing that concerned me was that the gate that was locked in the evening was also locked from the inside!! […] You had to have a key to get out, not to safe in my opinion. "Will use any time I travel to Key West"
Stayed one night ine Key West and this place was perfect. The price was maybe a little high for the room but manageble since I was spilting with a friend. It is in the perfect location just a block up from Duval. It is on the opposite end of the main tourists spots but that was part of the possitive aspects. We were close to everything but not so close […] that we were disturbed by anything going on farther up. The room did have a full kitchen but we never used it. I plan on remembering that for the next time. The staff there was extremely helpful. When we checked in they told us the good places to eat, things to see, the easiest way to get to everything. I wish we had been able to stay longer than we did. You may drive past the place the first time around, we did. But it was such a great set up with the pool in the middle of the courtyard. All the rooms are centered around it and have tables near each door. I will be staying here every time I go back. This was the best experience I have ever had staying at any hotel or b and b. L'acceuil est chaleureux, le calme est la qualité première de ce lieu. Proche d'une joli plage et pas loin du centre historique, c'est le bonheur. I really liked Alexander Palms Court. Its a small and cosy hotell in Key West with a small pool and a small parking lot. Its pretty close to the most intresting places and streets but still not in the middle of the puddle. The hosts are most kind and really gives you the best service you can get.
