The facilties and services are great! It is very near the Southernmost Point -- just 3mins walk! But it is far from the Mallory Harbour for the sunset view. Besides, we were in room #137. There was an air-purifier on the floor which was very noice! I will first say that Jennifer at the customer tour desk was a real professional and found a way for us to make a Sunset trip a wonderful experience. Hotel stays is a toss of the dice when shopping on line but our number came up and was so lucky to find this one. Everything was perfect and the staff is a 10 in my book. We will stay there again.

The only real complaint I have about the hotel was the size of the room. One side of the room had space but where they had the table you almost had to climb over the other bed to get to it. Everything else was great. Cant wait to go back again.

Great hotel, great value. Location is at one end of Duval Street. Close to Duval St shopping but the opposite end from most of the bars. Southernmost Point in the USA marker is a block away. Private beach access, multiple bars and pools on property. Rooms were very nice, refrigerator, microwave, but a little small. Bathroom was awesome! My daughters […] were raving about the shower. Hotel could stand to update the room TV and mattress, but it was very clean and staff was very friendly. The beach was neat. The location was easy to navigate to and from. Bike rental on site was a nice amenity. No room service from the restaurant which was kind of a bummer. Yet, I would totally stay there again!

The Southernmost is a very nice hotel. Wifi is free, the property is large and in great condition, parking is free. The location is very convenient to walk through the local shops or to the beach. Very nice place with reasonable rates.

We spent the week at this Hotel, and it was a most pleasant stay. The hotel is one block from the beach, but it has a private beach as well as a public beach. We had a room on the first floor, in a dark corner with very little natural light coming in and right next to the service room so early morning activities and noise. The room by itself is OK, the location within the hotel definitely not for this price.

Great hotel located near the sourthernmost point in Key West. Comfy, clean and with a great staff. Although located opposite to Mallory Square where all the "action" is, this hotel is great for relaxing after a day's worth of activities.. Enjoy a late swim at their pool which closes at 11pm.

I've stayed in many hotels all over the world. I understand that hotels sometimes can't accomodate guests special requests, but we booked our room thru hotels.com after having a three-way conference call with the Southernmost Hotel three-months in advance and they lied. All we were asking for was that the rooms that we were reserving would be next to […] one-another facing the pool. This was very important since my wife's sister has a child with special needs and and they don't speak english. This was their first trip to the states since our marraige. I was guaranteed by the Sourthernmost Hotel that the rooms would be side-by-side in case we needed to help them respond to a medical emergency. When we showed up, not only weren't the rooms side-by-side, they were in different buildings. When I told the employee "Liam" to give me a minute to explain what was the issue to the non-english speaking part of our group, "Liam" sold our room to a walk-in and we got to wait around until a room in the other building was cleaned / ready. After the long wait, we moved into the room with a view of the parking lot and left to explore Key West. When we came back and put the kids to bed we were surpised by the loud banging / noise coming from below our room. They had relocated us to a room above the laundry. I called / complained but it didn't make any difference. They said since I had gone thru Hotels.com instead of placing directly with them that they didn't have to honor any "Special Requests". even though we did a three-way conference call before I booked the room. They also have a match price policy - best thing to do is get a price from hotel.com etc and them contact them directly so they don't pull the rug out from under you also. Personally, I'll not stay there again since they don't do what they promise. And their beach is a mess also. Read more

Great place. Room was great. Pools were great with bars. Beach with restaurant and bar (Hard to come by in Key West) the beach part. Booked 2 nights and sadly are flight did not make the connecting flight so missed out on a whole night. went to another hotel for two nights but regretted did not stay here the entire time. Hotel is within walking distance to most everything in Duval St area. The beach is one block away and has complimentary lounge chairs for hotel guests. Paddleboarding lessons are also available. Our 4-night stay at the Southernmost was very enjoyable and relaxing. We spent much of our time at their wonderful pool areas. The weather was hot and whenever we left the hotel to walk up Duval for shopping or dining the kids almost immediately wanted to get back to the pool (which was fine with us because there was plenty for us to do as well).. The […] activities director, Boomer, is great at keeping things interesting with free events like hula hoop contests, snorkeling lessons, beer school, and Wallhooky tournaments (my favorite). The condition of the hotel is quite old, small and desperately needs a renovation. It is at best similar to a local motel in a bad part of town. Totally not worth the price it asked for. My advice is to pay a bit more for a better hotel elsewhere since you already paying a lot or stay at a cheaper hotel if you don't care about the condition.

You can't beat this location -- on the ocean, within walking distance of Old Town, but far from the honky-tonk of North Duval Street. Room seemed a little small for the price, but Key West prices are high. You get a choice of three pools and beach access.

Reasonable choice, close enough to get into main action of Duval Street, yet a little away from active parts of the street. Quite appropriate for families with kids. Right next to its sister hotel, which is right on the beach. The shared cafe/restaurant actually is quite good.

Room was clean and attractive. Although one day our room had not been cleaned by 3 PM. Enjoyed the tile floors throughout and the deck. Free parking a plus since parking in town is limited. Becah cafe has great breakfasts with every table affording a view of the beach. Concierge was very helpful.

This hotel is the older portion of the Southernmost properties. It is well maintained and located at one end of Duval Street. We encountered no problems during our four day stay. We rented bicycles at the hotel and they were great for getting around to all the sights. We had breakfast at the hotel's cafe twice and it was good. We did find slightly better […] food and prices at the Denny's on Duval Street though. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. I would want to compare the price of the newer portions of the property before I made a final decision now that I know how everything is situated. The room was nice..... double queen beds and the bathroom arrangement was very nice. The location of hotel was perfect for us since we had children and a quieter stay away from the DUVAL St. excitement was necessary. Great Cafe by the beach... breakfast was delicious. Nice walking areas around and great pick up spot for the Old Town Trolley (pick up […] no. 10 right behind hotel). Great attractions just minutes away, even though we walked from the hotel all the way to Mallory square twice. Its a nice walk in the afternoon. At first I was not happy about not having complimentary breakfast but there are sooo many great places around the corner that its best left that way. Coffee service? eeeh... not great... i went down Duval 2 blocks and found a great coffee shop with incredible coffee cake! Pool access was great and very clean and friendly. The location had three pools, one with a TIKI BAR. We enjoyed the non-tiki bar pool with the kids. They loved it. I would go back. They cater to all types of vacations with all the people we met. No elevators in our side if you need to carry alot of luggage upstairs. Read more

We originally booked at the Southernmost and found we were able to upgrade to a room with an ocean view at the Southernmost on the Beach. We found the Southernmost and Southernmost on the Beach exceeded our expectations. Amazing staff and accomodations! We will definitely go back!

Brilliant hotel with the ability to use all the facilities of the Southernmost on the Beach just across the road. Great location at the quiet end of Duval Street--easy walk to Mallory Square. Only small fault--the laundry area is a bit scruffy, but do not let that put you off.
