Compared to usual hotels in the key west, FL, it is good place to stay. It provides shuttles to travel around the island. It is old building and need some repair including eaves in the roof.

The air conditioner barely cooled our room, the TV was fuzzy and we couldn't even get CBS or NBC in, the Wi-fi was not very good. Outside our room, the cement looked like it had been taken out and they had 2 bricks in their place, so we had to lift our luggage to our room. The outside was is poor shape.

Good breakfast ( bagels, danish, cereal ), good location & shuttle. Breakfast is always crowded but then again you are in Key West. I stayed 4 nights room service only came once. Shower was finicky. You get what you pay for and after all this was the cheapest rate on the island.

The hotel stay was fine. The staff was nothing less than courteous but when I checked out the desk personnel informed me of an extra fee I had to pay. I asked her what it was and she replied, "This is a resort fee" - I was disappointed because I do not like to be nickel-ed and dime'd. She also said that the resort fees comprise of the 'complimentary […] breakfast', telephone in the rooms, and parking. To be clear, I did not use the telephone, I was under the impression breakfast was COMPLIMENTARY, and I've never yet had to pay for parking at any hotel in my life (not as though they were lacking parking spaces). Hotel is outdated. Air conditioner is very loud. Room was a little musty, but generally clean. Have to drive or take bus to the center of town where the tourist attractions are. Not much around hotel. I guess everything in Key West is expensive, but this place was not worth the price.

This hotel is barely a 2 star. It is old and worn out. On the exterior the stucco and concrete is deteriorating and you can see large cracks and exposed rebar. Everywhere you look there are examples of patch work repairs. Furniture was chipped and dated. Carpets were so dirty that the soles of our feet were black. Paid extra for poolside and queen size […] beds. They put us in a room that was technically on the same side as the pool but no pool in sight. Room also had double beds. Management did change rooms for a poolside with queens but they acted like they were doing us a great favor. Wifi did not work in the rooms - had to go to the lobby to get a signal. Breakfast selection was fine but it was like feeding time at the zoo. We grabbed food and ate in our room to avoid the crowd. Hotel is located at the furthest point possible from the fun parts of the island. Free shuttle service was good but crowded at times. If you are planning a trip to Key West check out some of the bed and breakfast options instead of this place - we wandered into a couple of the b&b's right downtown and they were beautiful and not much more expensive than what we paid. If you want to stay in Key West while not being able to afford higher price, this is a good choice. It locates in the island, but just at the entrance, far from main attractions. Acceptable room and service, good breakfast.

We stayed here for only 1 night. The room looked very spacious, but the carpet was overdue for a change! Maybe the design or the color - it looked super dirty that U dont want to remove sandals in the room ;-) Also, saw a small stain in the white sheetset and started wondering whether they changed the sheetset or not! Also, the toilet was not working, […] but they immediately came to fix it. Coffee maker was useful. Their breakfast is absolutely lovely. Gave more points just for the nice breakfast. Overall, decent stay for a night in Keywest. Also, they gave us free shuttle services to see downtown Keywest and we used it nicely. Without that we wud have hard time going downtown, parking etc. So, for the breakfast & shuttle service, recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay for a night or two in keywest. Read more

The stay was good over all. The service desk very friendly and breakfast for good. We were in a non smoking room with rooms on both sides smoking. so you could smell the smoke for the adjoining rooms. Also the showers had a lot to be desired as far as turning on and off the water. the handles were stripped so it was difficult to manage. And the drain […] was slow.......... Also the room had a dog smell that finally after spraying with fabreeze multiple times the smell finally resided. This is suppose to be no pets but someone must have snuck one in. It is like a motel on the outside. Only stayed for one night as Hurricane Isaac came in, it was inexpensive and had free breakfast but you are better off at a Bed & Breakfast near Duval St.

I know Key West is typically a little pricy no matter what time of year, but being summer I was shocked at the prices and that the hotel seemed run down. The hotel staff was great and the transportation was nice, but otherwise not at all happy with the room or the price!

It was among the cheapest in Key West,but a bit run down from outside, uneven hallways, some holes in walls here and there. Room was clean ,ok but the AC was loud and we woke us up few times during the night. The complimentary breakfast was good , plenty of choice. For one night was ok .

Hotel in dire need of maintenance. During our stay, there were heavy rain storms. The walkway ceilings were leaking and falling apart. The awning over the stairway did not provide complete coverage of the rain, especially since one of the rain gutters dumped onto the awning. The exterior fence along the parking lot needs repairs and has rotted in several […] places leaving openings that would affect security. Breakfast is just ok. Next door, there is a complementary shuttle service to old town and the beaches, which is helpful since the hotel is located on the opposite side of the island from these tourist spots. I wasn't too happy with the quality of the room or the beds - the bed was creaky and moved a bit too much. Room was dingy as were the corridors and public areas. The breakfast room and lobby weren't bad. Breakfast has boiled eggs and sausages and fresh waffles. Overall, an ok choice for the cost, but can't give it a thumbs up.

Probably the best part of staying at Quality, is the free breakfasts. The hotel needs some major updates. Our room was clean for the most part. The door did not really close right--one needed to push and lift the door/knob in order to use the deadbolt. The other thing that was frustrating was the noisy roosters that would "cockadoodledoo" from 3am throughout […] the night/morning. I didn't think to pack earplugs...ugh! Quality INN Hotel. Unless I report that condition and the maintenance person came and he try to unclog both he can't fix the problem. Sewer main line must be blocked in some place because age of pipe (I think so), shower valves doesn't work properly (Room 123), the afro-american lady taking care of room cleaning, etc keep talking loudly by each room […] he pass thru but stay talking by phone or someone else in the same place for several minutes. Don't reserve a room here at a cheap rate and expect the place to compete with much more expensive resorts. It's all about expectations. comfy & clean queen beds, wife & kids loved the complementary breakfast (i enjoyed the round the clock access to coffee in the lobby!) , location is a bit far from Duval St. & tourist attractions if you are going down to KW for that...otherwise a reasonable place to stay.
