The people at the hotel were helpful. The free shuttle service was a plus and the gal that ran the service was great. We had 2 suites that were suppose to be non smoking. One of them had been smoked in. It also had a water leak that we fixed. The carpet next to the bathroom had a wet area where the water had been leaking. The battery in the smoke alarm […] needed replacement (was beeping). I told the office and it still wasn't fixed when we left. It was spring break and bike week so you had to put up with some noise but the staff did a good job of keeping thse people isolated from the rest of the guests. Read more

We were disappointed that our deadbolt lock on our door did not work. The outside lights did not come on and we had to call the desk to tell them to turn them on cuz it made it very scary to come in and go out at night. The complimentary bus ride wasn't complimentary... they charged a 8.99 per night to use the shuttle, coffee @ tea in the lobby but […] it was advertised as free, ??? Originally a 2 night stay at the Days Inn that I streatched to 3 nights. Overalll I was satisfied with my stay. Days Inn is a economy hotel and you get what you pay for. The concierge (sp) that sits in the hotel lobbey, not employed by Days Inn was extreamly helpful and I didnt know I even needed anything as I had been in Key West a number of times. […] Days Inn provided FREE shuttle service to the downtown area with 3 stops, another plus. The only downside for my group was that this service ended everyday at 1130pm. The only problems I had, were of my own creation and the hotel dealt with them professionally and promptly. Read more

I will never stay at this hotel again, the beds was very uncomfortable, the pillows had very little stuffing, the carpet in my buddies room was soaked you could hear water running down the wall in the closet this is what soaked the carpet & to top it all off had to listen to 3 roosters outside of our rooms crowing all night. Stayed for one-night (really about 7 hours total @ hotel), and most of that time was sleeping off a night of drinking; so take this review based on that info... The room was was fairly clean with little to no odor, everything worked as it should, and the front-desk personnel and concierge were great.

The rug was dirty. The bathroom had mold around the tub. The door at the bottom was rotted & rust holes in it. I was charged $$.$$ for the shuttle that made a stop four long blocks from Duval street. I was charged $$.$$ for a breakfast coupon for 10% off. At least this is what the clerk told me when I questioned the charges on my bill. The hotel was in rough shape,,,,For what they charge in Key West this place should be kept up like a palace.....The carpet was dirty and grungy, made you afraid to take your shoes off in the room. It is a Days Inn, no better, no worse then any Days Inn I've every stayed in. Be prepared to pay about $9.00 when you get there for the shuttle service, and the fact they have orange juice and coffee in the lobby. The $9.00 is worth it for the shuttle.

I am very unhappy customer. I have stayed at your Day Inns before and I would have never thought to have such horrible conditions. When I booked they told me they had continental breakfast which in our case was juice and coffee. We requested a smoker room which was ok but did not even have an ash tray to put your cigarette ashes in we used paper cups […] with water in them. When we returned home our socks were green because the carpeting was so dirty. Went to gete some ice and 2 ice machine and not able to get ice. I feel bad that we spent so much money for the room and I would not recommend it anyone because of the conditions and the price. Read more

In the land of Hemingway, it only seemed appropriate to borrower his Key West inspired theme for this review. The Haves: The service was amazing. The front-desk clerks were very courteous and helpful. The concierge (yep, they have one) was truly there to ensure you had a great time. She arranged and booked tours at no additional costs provided information […] on the shuttle service, and supplied us with drink tickets to several of Key West's watering holes. Last but not least the attached Waffle House was great for late night coffee and the next day's breakfast. The Have Nots: The carpets in the rooms were stained and or dirty- I couldn't determine, which made everything else seem unsanitary, including the bed coverings and linens. Taking into consideration that is a motel in the truest definition, and the extremely reasonable rates and availability, the expectations shouldn't have been that high in the first place. Moreover, I will pay more to stay someplace else next time. All they need to do to have a great place at a great value is to put in new carpet and clean it up a bit. Read more

This is Key West. You can go to the high rent district & spend all your time in saunas etc. or use the hotel as a base of operations to see and do what Key West is all about. This is a "mature" facility, near the edge of the tourist district. As such, some of the stuff is older. However it is remarkably well maintained, the staff is wonderful and enthusiastic […] and knowledgeable. Also, the lady at the tour desk knows all, from where/how to park to who has the best fish sandwich and gifts. Use her. The glaring disappointment was the room service. Left only one towel one night & I mentioned it to the front desk. did no service at all in the room the next night as revenge. However, be flexible, not the Ritz but a perfect, lower cost alternative to the "destination" resorts. Get out and see/experience the water & reefs etc. Read more

This hotel was conveniently located, had rates which were competitive with the other hotels in the area. The room was clean and the maintenance of the grounds was spot-on. I would definitely book a room at this hotel again.

Days Inn Key West. The front desk clerk was very friendly and "upgraded me from a 2 dbl bed standard room to a 1 king bed suite, which seemed great at first. I liked having a refrigerator & microwave, living/kitchen seperate from bedroom. There was a downside, though. The bedroom faced a busy street, which hampered my sleeping in and on top of that, […] they must've been remodeling rooms nearby, I was awakened by hammering(?) sounds a couple times and landscaping equipment another day. I like to sleep in when I'm on vacation, so... Housekeeping did a great job and never bothered me at all during a 6 night stay, even though I didn't leave my room until afternoon each day. I have been awakened by housekeeping in many other hotels, so I really appreciated being left alone til I left the room. All in all, its a good place, especially for the rate I got thru hotels.com but if traffic noise bothers you, just ask for a room away from the road. Read more
