This hotel isn't too bad. It has a restaurant on site, but it looks run down and dirty. However, we did order a to-go order from there one night and the... food was good. The hotel is very close to the METRO station- maybe a mile walk. There is no vent in the bathroom, which makes doing your hair and make-up impossible unless you leave the door open. The beds were not very comfortable- one squeaked every time you rolled over, and you could feel the springs in the other bed. Also - take your own pillow! The wi-fi was not good at all, so definitely don't book here for the free wireless. Other than that, it was a decent place for what we paid. The day staff wasn't very helpful or friendly, but the guy that worked the night shift was really nice and helpful. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 21, 2012

This hotel is an outstanding value! Room was newly redecorated and elegant, with flat screen TV. Personnel were uniformly pleasant and helpful. A restaurant is on the premises; it served fresh quality food at very reasonable prices. This is the best hotel we've stayed in in a very long time!

This was a nice hotel. It had a microwave,refrigerator and a flat screen TV. Housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning our room. Everything was good, except the staff didn't let me use the front office microwave for the kids meal in an odd hour - that was bad. He just needed to let me use it for 15 secs. God bless him for his other good work.

I was worried about some of the poor reviews but very pleasantly surprised. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathtub worked well (better than recent stays at more expensive hotels) and was very relaxing after a hot day at Six Flags. The front desk was friendly and helpful, providing change for the vending machine for me. I did not eat at the […] restaurant so that was not an issue. Significantly, the air conditioning worked well and may be the first hotel I've ever stayed at where the air conditioner didn't make so much noise as to wake me every few hours. This unit was smooth and silent and kept me comfortable and asleep the whole night. It is convenient to Six Flags and had a very good rate, I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to that park. Read more
