"Location and Friendly Staff"

"NOT MY CUP OF TEA"
The hotel is a different concept and not my taste, once I got settled in, it grew on me... Not alot of privacy if traveling with company. I did ask the young hip front desk staff where a full service car wash was and they all responded with a clueless look. I was apparent they drive to a from this area of Frisco and not very aware of services near by. "aLOFT Frisco"
We stayed here to be close to the ball park. With 2 of us in the room, there were only 2 towels (one with four rips in it) and only 1 regular coffee packet. "Aloft Frisco - IKEA's place to stay"
Frisco is not an area I was familiar with. I've always driven to IKEA then driven home. Last year I had the pleasure of staying at the Aloft downtown Dallas (the nicest and most custom of the franchise in Dallas) so I noticed this location on my trip to IKEA. We stayed one night as a girl's trip and shopped IKEA, Sam Moon and all the surrounding shopping. […] Frisco is the place to be! The staff was uninterested in my concerns at check-in. I believe I booked two doubles and, although I arrived well before check-in, i was told none would be available and no attempt was made at all to help (not even a fake check to make me think they cared). No cold water in the room the next morning. Seriously. Plenty of scalding hot water but not […] a drop of cold. The room was well appointed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. "Have It All"
My stay at Aloft was unlike any other. From the time I walked in I felt at home. The waiting area was welcoming with up to date furniture, TV's on several walls, pool table, and a desk for computer usage. The bedroom was very relaxing and comfortable. Our hotel was on the same parking lot with a shopping center that had stores like TJ Maxx, DSW Shoes, […] Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, PetSmart, Old Navy, Dillards, Big Lots, Ross and many others. It was like a mini shopping mall. It was walking distance from the hotel although a shuttle was available. There were tons of eating establishments in the area as well. The only negative that I found with the hotel was the food prices were too pricey, but who cares when you can walk to get something to eat or take the shuttle. "Convenient to Stonebriar"
The hotel is not luxurious, but it's comfortable enough for a weekend stay. The fact that the pool is open 24/7 is nice, and the wxyz bar is fun. The low-flow toilets were a bummer, and the room never seemed to cool completely or get the stale air filtered out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I stayed from Oct 11-15 and it was a wonderful hotel. Room was gorgeous, bathroom was super nice (shower was amazing), cleaning staff and front desk staff were top notch. I didnt get to use the heated outdoor pool but it looked amazing especially on the really hot days I was there. The lobby was different than anything I'd ever seen before...very hip […] and modern yet very welcoming and alot of fun (pool table, tvs, foosball, rock em sock em robots tabletop game, ipad access for concierge info and a nice little nook where you could buy food/snacks/drinks). The only drawback was that the air conditioner in the room was kind of loud but it didn't bother me, there are no room for any guests to really hang out in the room (its really a room just for sleeping and bathing which is what a hotel room should be anyway) and that my room was right above the hotel lounge area so I could hear some music lightly thumping.
