"Probably Won't Stay Here Again"
First, I'd like to say that every staff person I encountered was friendly and the outside grounds were well maintained. In my opinion, the one bedroon queen suite with murphy bed I reserved was cramped and dimly lit. The bedroom did not have window so I considered pulling down the murphy bed in the living room because that room had the only window in […] the entire suite. The living room was so small that when the murphy bed was pulled down it filled the room so much that the only way to exit the small living room was to climb over the bed. In addition, the suite needed to be aired out. It had that stuffy, dusty, musty odor and feel. The shower has some mold growing along the edges. After about 10 minutes in the room I went to the front desk to cancel my reservation for the next night I'd booked. I decided to go home early rather than stay there. The staff was pleasant and agreed to refund my money, but because I had booked through hotels.com, my refund had to come from them. I was able to receive that refund, but later I was charged an additional "agent fee" that I wasn' t previously aware of. Probably for the cancellation. Only thing I didn't like about my room is that it had a huge old pull down bed entertainment center in the living room. They should switch to sofa beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
