Pros: I wanted a hotel close to Philly without paying Philly prices, which was awesome. The commute to Philly was less than 15 minutes and no traffic. (Yay!) Cons: the lady at the desk when I checked in was rather rude, but it wasn't a big deal. "Uneven Characteristics Good to Excellent and poor"
Hotel is dated but impressively clean. Good price and easy to get to from PA though street address in google was WRONG. Hotel is on Rt 38 . Plenty of parking. We were happy to have found Cherry Hill as a great location for jumping into Philly each day, sometimes for business and other times for site seeing. The trip to Philly most times took 10-15 minutes, with no traffic back-ups. This hotel was relatively inexpensive and yet served our purposes really well. "cheap for business in philly"
I stayed here because I had some business and philly but I am poor. The drive back and forth isn't bad at all, its a $5 toll to get into PA though. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was pretty good, the microwave and fridge worked perfect as well. While at a conference in Cherry Hill, we stayed in this hotel. Upon arrival, the hotel clerk was rude and not willing to help. Even after returning to the desk because the keys did not open the door, she still was not pleasant. The suite we stayed in was very clean and provided the necessary comfort. I had no interaction with hotel staff except when I was checking in. The motel is off a major highway with not much in the immediate surrounding area. I didn't have a huge problem with noise, but since it's a motel there was some action going on outside the door at times which is a little unnerving when you're staying somewhere solo. The room met the […] minimums when it came to cleanliness, but the carpet was ripped up in several locations and the bathroom was super bare bones (with a sink outside of the bathroom). The couch and luggage bench and bathroom walls were all stained. Free Wifi and cable selections were great so I was able to be productive and enjoyed entertainment. "Don't Waste Your Money Here!"
My parents and I stayed at this hotel for one night on business. When we arrived, I went inside the main lobby to find a man sitting at a desk. He had no personality, and seemed uninterested in doing his work. He gave me the key to a room that was being painted on the second floor of the outside hotel rooms (not my ideal of a real hotel stay), and there […] was no elevator. My parents and I had to carry all our things up several flights of stairs. Also, when I was informed by the painter that the room was being worked on, I went back down to the main lobby to obtain a room that was ready to stay in. After, we went inside the next room to find it dark, dingy, and untidy to say the least. The bathroom was smelly and the toilet would make so much noise when flushed as if it were going to explode. The room had two double beds, which costs me more than any decent hotel in Ohio or elsewhere for that matter (and my parents and I were very much unsatisfied).
