We were very pleased with the property- the newly remodelled lobby and breakfast area was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Rooms were comfortable.... Was a bit disappointed that the safe in the room was not working. Would stay here again. It was the perfect location for us to base from for the various day trips planned- Natchez Trace, Lynchburg, surrounding civil war battle grounds, shopping, and restaraunts. by Deb & Ed from Wisconsin on 04/21/13

We got a great price on the hotel and it is right off the interstate. A hot breakfast that was good. Nice staff. The room was small, the toilet was very sluggish, and the bathroom door would not latch closed. All in all it was good for the price we paid.

Staff not organized. Made everyone wait until 3:00pm to check in so check took too long. One patron was given keys to a room that was already occupied. Continental breakfast was not pleasant- ran out of fruit, ran out of coffee several times, had to ask for milk, and no room to sit in the dining area. Will not stay there again

The hotel was nice, good for the money I paid. Staff isn't super friendly but they saw the my friend and I had what we needed. Over all it was clean and I would stay there again!

I booked through hotels.com, but when I tried to check in they didn't have a record of my check-in. I showed them my confirmation email and so they called hotels.com. Eventually after about 45 minutes, they got things settled. I stayed 3 nights and despite putting a "clean room please" sign on the door, my room was not cleaned once. The hotel is a little dated but we just wanted a clean bed so we were ok with the look of the hotel. Front desk was very polite upon check in. Appreciated the directions (on their marquee) to the back entrance. Our A/C unit was not cooling very well so I mentioned it to the front desk as we were leaving Sunday. When we returned Sun afternoon we had […] a new unit. What a difference. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Coffee and biscuits and gravy were good. There was no fruit which I prefer. Upon checkout I went to the front desk...they guy never looked up (he was dressed like a manager which made it even worse). I waited a minute and then just laid my key on the counter and left. I don't think that he ever say me. I am so glad he was not working the day we checked in. Got a special rate so it was worth what I paid for it. The room was clean and the second night it was cool. Just make sure you check in on the weekend, the weekend staff is much friendlier than the Monday morning staff. Read more

Everything was just about perfect. Problems were minor and quickly corrected. Room key wouldn't work the 2nd day, forcing us to have to visit the front desk. Clerk working on our check out day was less than friendly. Other than those two issues, visit was perfect.

Since I was attending a convention, I didn't spend much time in the room. It fulfilled its function as a place to stay quite nicely though. It was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The people there were all friendly, and the free breakfast was superior to any similarly priced motel I ever stayed at. All in all, a very favorable impression.
