"AVOID!!!"
Didn't provide King bed as requested; hence, no easy chair in room (which I need for sleeping early morning due to a recent surgery). Maintenance was poor, chairs stained, wall lamps twisted, other wall lamps didn't work at night BUT came on in the early morning as if on a timer. Beds were horrible, unable to use 12" on either edge of bed due to poor […] foundation; hence, queens became functionally singles. Shower water pressure terrible, had to stand underneath to rinse. Shower curtain rod placed incorrectly therefore the curtain kept sticking to the body during the shower. Breakfast lacked any protein, a 3 year old's delight, but totally inadequate for adult nutrition. One of the worst experiences I have had, made my continuing education weekend a nightmare, NEVER AGAIN!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noisy Neighbors - Uncooperative Management"
Unfortunately what we hoped to be a relaxing, sleep-in Sunday turned out to be a very early, sleepless morning. We very quietly checked in around midnight and were awakened at 5:15 a.m. by the neighbors’ wake-up call. No problem, except that was just the beginning. By 5:30 there were no less then 6 different room doors slamming up and down the hallway […] every 3-4 minutes. We called the front desk to politely complain, but the slamming continued. Looking out the peephole we could see it was several different doors. Unable to return to sleep by 6:20, we called the front desk a second time and said, "Please call room 120 and tell them the slamming has got to stop." Their phone never rang. We gave up at 6:45 and went to breakfast. We discovered we’d been placed in the midst of a hallway of a girl's soccer team and their families. They’d been entering and leaving their rooms repeatedly to eat breakfast and load their vehicles. We've traveled with groups ourselves, but the hotels made sure we were quiet during check-out and they would always isolate us. Here, management was either too timid to ask them to be quiet or just didn't care about our comfort. And the "continental breakfast?" Forget about it! Every one was complaining about what a rip-off it was. A toaster, frozen waffles, bread, English muffins, juice and some cereal. What a joke! With plenty of other hotels right next door, take our advice and try one of those. I will never stay here again!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Never again"
The room was advertised as having a sleeper sofa, but the only employee on staff informed us none of their rooms have them. Finally we received a cot and to our surprise, it had blood stains on it. To top it off, our tv on got one channel, QVC. Thanks goodness we were only staying for one night. Never again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

""Stay away, far away""
The room was very dirty and the bed was horrible. We found a worm on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was not much of one. Overall, I would not stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

We booked this hotel for 5 peiple and we get there and they have 2 double beds. We were told there was a pullout also. The manager said no and I had to pay extra for a roll away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Most badly managed hotel in Franklin, TN."
Desk staff friendly and efficient upon check-in, but non-smoking room stunk of cigarettes. Manager said previous occupants kept heat on high which caused the smell (temps were in the 100s the previous day!). Manager said that changing rooms would cause HIM big problems so not possible; if we wanted to cancel our room we "had to tell him soon." When […] we returned from a short trip the room was toxic with "air freshener", and the carpet totally soaked with water...it literally sloshed when we walked on it. We asked reception if they could do something about it and were told, "I can give you a couple of extra towels." On the way out we asked the hotel to solve the water problem and when we got back asked if anything could be done and were again told we could have a couple of extra towels. The next day the manager accused us of having the AC on too high and told us we should have done something about it the previous day. Then he made a big fuss about drying the carpet. After the air freshener wore of and for the rest of our stay the room stunk of mildew but it was impossible to air it out because the windows don't open. That morning there was no tea in the "breakfast" room. I asked reception about it and she looked in the appropriate cupboard - no tea. I asked if the manager could send someone for tea and she said, "I'm the only one here!" Later she told my daughter that she left a note for the manager. For the next four days there was no tea in the "breakfast room." Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Never Again."
I'll admit that some of the reason I was disappointed was that I evidently asked for a "Smoking" room and didn't realize it until I got there - it was awful. I expressed to the staff that it was an accident and that we really didn't want that room if there was any way it could be avoided, but she just gave us a shrug in reply, so in an effort to have […] a good trip, we just tried to overlook it (again, MY mistake, not theirs, that it was an issue in the first place). But the rest of the stay was a struggle to keep ourselves in a good mood. I was embarrassed that I picked out the accommodations because my spouse had so many complaints about it. There were holes everywhere - in the walls, the table, the floor - and carpet torn up. Shelves looked too dusty to have been cleaned in years. The blanket didn't appear to have been washed. The bathroom door didn't close. The continental breakfast was basically toast and cereal... oh, but there was that one frozen waffle next to the toaster. I would rather have slept in the car. I got bit by hoards of bed bugs, I did not see any evident problem when I walked in the room, but once I woke up I was covered in bites!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a 2 star at all"
This hotel should not have any stars at all. Terrible bed. Sheets looked dirty. "Guaranteed Internet" didn't work. Honey buns and cereal for breakfast. The AC made a terrible clicking sound all night which kept me awake. Couldn't get ANY sleep at all. Paper thin walls.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"America's Best Value Inn, NOT!!!"
I really needed a place to stay for a night so I made a reservation at America's Best Value Inn in Franklin, TN. With what I know about Franklin I was expecting much more. The people at the desk were etude, and inconsiderate, they didn't offer any greeting or information and immediately asked for my drivers license and credit card. I went to my room […] and had issues opening the door with the electronic key card. The room was dirty and smelled funny but I had gotten there late and I was exhausted. On hotels.com it shows they offer complimentry breakfast so at 9:20 the next morning I walk into the room where breakfast is served and it was empty. I asked about the breakfast and I was told it was only served from 6-9am. I asked where that was written and he said I should have read the signs in my room. I was never given any paperwork or a receipt. This is by far the WORST hotel I have ever seen and they should be put out of business. Save your money or spend a little extra somewhere else. "one of the worst hotels I have ever seen"
It was a horrible expierence. We were told we would have three rooms with one for an 85 year old and they told us they only had two rooms. The woman at the lobby desk was rude and not knowledgeable of anything. She seemed lost at her job. She was so aggravated at us and was very rude. In the first room we were given, the toilet had urine in it and the […] flush did not work. It was hot and stunk of cigarettes. The next one that we stayed in was hot too, and the drain in the tub did not work. The breakfast was slack and only strong coffee, white bread and dried cornflakes. We were so glad to leave. I would not recommend this to anyone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"ummm...don't really have the words to explain"
Hotel Manager was VERY nice. My daughter and I were looking for a clean inexpensive room to spend the weekend for a basketball tournament. We got to the room....realized immediately it was very damp....even sleeping in the overly squishy bed it just seemed damp. I noticed in the morning I had a bite on my foot. Didn't think much of it....then was the […] shocker....red ants ALL over. In our bags, in my purse (which I ended up leaving behind because it was just infested) all over vanity counter. It was a nightmare. They offered to spray while we were out, I told them I would like to check out. Expedia and hotel DID refund the 2 remaining nights. I was still charged for the night I spent, but manager did give me $10 for my trouble. Sooooooo.......it is something to laugh about now, but at the time, not funny at all. The hotel was crowded and I did not see others checking out for the same reason, but, that was my experience. So book at your own risk.......Again, the manager was very nice, but we ended up at Baymont in Brentwood. They were also veery nice...but with very comfortable beds and no bugs!!! "The hotel in Franklin, TN"
The hotel was located close to where I needed to go. The room was clean but did have a strange odor. I got sick the first night there and stayed sick until I left. The mattress was horrible. I did not get a good nights sleep the whole time I was there. I did tell the clerk at the desk that they needed to invest in newer mattresses and did not receive […] sympathy or even a apology. It was like they did not care. I will spend the extra money and stay at La Quinta the next time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
