"Average hotel"

Some of the front desk did very poor job. We reserved the room that included the breakfast. when we checked in, the lady in front desk didn't smile, she said it didn't include the breakfast, i said i can show you the confirm statement , then she said it included the breakfast but it only included 2 people, and we need to pay breakfast for my son. I […] was not happy about that because when I reserved the room online, it didn't say how many people can get the free breakfast , so i assumed 3 of us can get it. "Overnight stop"
I give this hotel an average rating because while clean and comfortable, it was dated. Staff was not exceptionally friendly but was adequate. AC worked well, bed was fairly comfortable, and hotel was next door to a Chili's. It was fine for an overnight stop on the way home. "Less than expected, won't stay again"
Considering "Marriott" is part of the name of this hotel we were pretty disappointed in the quality of the hotel and the experience. Being unfamiliar with the Dallas area we were not aware that this hotel is in a fairly undesirable area. The hotel itself is old and fairly dated. There was not a vent fan in the restroom in our room, there were 2 burned […] out lightbulbs and the tub drained very slowly. For some reason the toilet was very short ... like kid-size. When we had need to interact with the staff it was challenging due to the fact that only the desk staff (which appeared to be under-staffed) spoke english. Overall the experience was disappointing. The experience at this hotel was favorable in that the room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff friendly. When we arrived the reservations we thought we had were not available and that was disappointing...but we were able to adapt. "Marriott,Richardson,Tx: polite staff, ants in room"
I booked two rooms at the hotel, one king and one twin. When we arrived the bathroom in the twin room had ants in it. It was about 1.30am and we were tired so I decided to wait until morning before complaining. When we woke up in the morning we had ants on the bed, table and the floors as well as the bathroom. I called the front desk and my complaint […] was handled very well. Someone was sent and the room was sprayed while we were at breakfast and when we returned back the ants were gone. At breakfast we were told that as we had a problem with the room we would not be charged for breakfast. However no such compensation was given when we checked out. That day the flush in the bathroom stopped functioning properly and the water kept flowing until the and the flush handle was turned upwards. Other than this the hotel was alright. There was ample parking space and the hotel staff was very polite and courteous. The breakfast was also quite good. The swimming pool was clean and accessible.
