I have stayed at this hotel before. It was the only hotel available for a family wedding. it was clean and beds were comfortable. I didn't like the steps outside the room and also at the exit doors. The shower was good, but there was no shelf for shampoo, etc, in the enclosure. The room was spacious and the iron and ironing board were a plus. we booked 2 rooms.regular room with 2 beds were OK but the other room that was supposed to be a suite was an disappointment. Upstair room was hot even with portable A/C and fan. It was disappoint for extra money we pay for that room

It was just as we expected. The pool was in good shape it was very quiet for being on a main street. And the staff was friendly. The hotel overall was clean and very modest. We enjoyed our stay. The free continental breakfast was great! A definite plus.

We figured out how to turn on the free standing airconditioner and fan, but it wasn't the best system for really cooling and dehumidifying the upstairs bedroom. We only stayed one night. I was very disappointed that after arriving home from a wedding at 1:30 am, my key card did not work on either the in or out door. Breakfast was not looking very appetizing so we went to Friendly's. Other than these 2 things, it was fine.

Hotel admiralty is good enough for the price. Room is big and comfortable. Air conditioning system is noisy and old paint is flaking. I would not stay at this hotel again. You truly do get what you pay for. I chose this hotel based on some prior good reviews and because it was a good price. We were only there for 3 nights (thank goodness because I don't think that I could have handled another night). When we checked in, I noticed that we were in the far building so I asked about a […] room in one of the main buildings. I was told that those rooms were more expensive (needed to book superior or more). I made the comment that "that's something you should let people know when booking, because I would pay the extra for being in a main building". I was told that there was nothing they could do to change it now because my hotel was prepaid. So, I went to my room. The entire hotel seems to need updating, but the rooms in this building really need updating! Although the room was mostly clean - the bathroom was awful. There was a very small stand up shower that was stained and falling apart. It did seem to be clean, but I still didn't feel clean after showering because it was in such bad condition. Also, the water temperature varied greatly (I'm assuming depending on other rooms flushing toilets, etc.) Our toilet didn't work properly either. Breakfast was OK, but there was basically only cereal, waffles, toast or one type of muffin to choose from. I definitely will NOT be going back to this hotel. On a positive note - the room was huge! I had a business trip to Woods Hole, and picked this hotel in Falmouth as the cheapest option that was close by. Even so, it's not cheap, and if not for being on cape cod, this hotel would cost less than half as much. Also, it's not within walking distance of the cute downtown strip, and although only 5 mi. from Woods Hole, it could take up to 25 min […] by car due to traffic and snail-speed drivers. The internet was barely usable, and the breakfast was satisfatory for such a motel. In restrospect, however, I would have picked a slightly more expensive place either in Falmouth town center, or on the road to Woods Hole. Our room at the Admiralty Inn was large and spacious with a sink & mirror outside the bathroom along with a small refrigerator and microwave, but the odor from stale cigarete smoke permeated everyhing. The decor is very outdated, with tears in the drapes, sheets that are old and ill-fitted, and bath towels that are kid sized and very thin.

The Admirality Hotel in Falmouth- you get what you pay for. It is clean and safe but not well maintained. Overall it was a good place to sleep but not one to go to if you plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel.
