Our room had a funky smell. Took a few minutes to get used to. Shower tub was somewhat plugged up. Ended up bathing my feet while showering. Breakfast was decent. Hampton Inn was better. "Clean & Convenient"

I loved every minute of it. We have two small children so they gave us a crib. We used the pool and hot tub and had a blast. We stayed here for five days in September while volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The service was good and the room quality was very good for the area. They allow pet sleepovers for an extra fee per night -- a plus if you are volunteering at BFAS and doing doggie sleepovers. Just returned from 2 nights at Holiday Inn Express in Kanab. We used it as a great midway for touring Zion, Bryce, etc. The decor of this hotel is adorable..a true Western. Our vacation tour took us from Las Vegas to Zion NP, the Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon & then Laughlin before returning to Las Vegas to fly home. This Holiday Inn Express was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in, and in our opinion, is by far the best option in the greater Kanab area. It is convenient to Zion, the North Rim and Bryce Canyon. The hotel was decorated cool, was very clean, and the staff was great. We will for sure stay there again. We were there the night before Thanksgiving and the front desk even had pumpkin pie for the guests! The pool was fun and was open until 11pm which was nice since we got there kind of late. The breakfast in the morning was great and had a good selection. […] The decor is really cool, or son kept calling it the Cowboy and Indian Hotel! The room was well appointed, had a flat screen TV, and the beds were comfortable (and did not have the gross covers on them that never get washed!). Best hotel in Kanab I think, and right across from a grocery store which was nice. The only negative thing I could even think of was that the room did not have a fridge or microwave...but it was cold enough that we left our food in the car and it was no big deal.
