"Kinda disappointed!"

"Front Desk needs work"
Asked for two things when made reservation. First that I was not near the elevator and extra pillow. My room was right beside the elevator and no extra pillows. Had to wait three hours before checking in finally at 5pm. I was told the first two times I checked that the room was being finished up to check back in an hour. Finally after the third hour […] they explained the maid had not updated the room. The hotel was very clean and I loved the view of the river eating breakfast. Breakfast was not the best, the food was not restocked as soon as it needed to be. Front desk was friendly but didnt help me when we first checked in to work out the check in problems. "Great all but the first impression"
This was our first stay at your hotel. The only complaint that I had was the member who greeted us when we arrived to check in. We walked in and was in the process of being waited on when we asked if we could see the room first - her comment was "it doesn't matter - you have to pay for it anyway". That may be the case however she could have been more […] professional. Other than this one employee the hotel was very nice and clean. I just suggest some training to the first desk. "Web Photo Deceiving!"

"OK Hotel - Poor Customer Service"
The location and amenities were pretty nice (pool and slide were nice). For some reason, I found that the staff was not very polite or helpful. Three issues with the staff: 1. Room was not ready at 4:00 (check in time). All they said was to check back in 15-20 minutes and see if the room was ready. 2. The ice machine asked me to check with the front […] desk if I needed ice for my cooler. So when I asked for ice at the front desk for a small cooler, they sent me to another room. When I knocked on the door by the dining room, they made me feel that I was putting them out asking for ice. 3. We had two adjoining rooms. We left a pillow in one of the rooms. We called after we left and were told they would look for it. We stopped by mid afternoon the next day, and they refused to get off their chair or EVEN CALL anyone to see if it had been found. "Be careful of housekeeping"
This is a beautiful hotel and with some great and friendly staff.But before we could enter our rooms.We had trouble getting in our rooms.the key cards would not work.so we had to go back down to the front desk for new Key cards.not once but twice! The next biggest thing was HOUSEKEEPING! We asked that our room be cleaned the next day and we left for […] hours.When we returned I checkd to see if the sheets on the bed had been changed.NO NO NO!!! I have a way of telling if the sheets were changed and they had not.(a secret of mines).Not only that they did not vaccum.And when I got in the shower I notice the tub had not been cleaned out also.And of course front desk was SHOCKED by this. Right! This is one of the most scary things about staying in hotels.Not knowing if you are sleeping on sheets from someone who was there before you.Oh one more thing to add to this.A piece of trim fell off the wall.When I went to report it to front desk.The woman looked at me like to say"What do you want me to do about it".When she called maintence she said to them" I guess they want you to come and fix it".unbelieveable!
