"Close to everything"

We were disappointed with the dated appearance of the room. It looked nicer on the Internet. Also, they must set the thermostat and so even if you dial up the heat you just get cool to medium air coming in. The room was clean and looked as described on website. Very clean. The only negatives about the room included an uncomfortable sofa bed (the springs were awful) and the wifi wasn't working. Nice, friendly hotel located very conveniently, but off the main strip and along a stream so it was quiet at night. Highlights include indoor pool and delicious omelet bar included with free breakfast. We booked this hotel for our annual family trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Such a wonderful stay! The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The vending machines on the 4th floor didn't work, so you had to go to the lobby to get a drink, but that wasn't any big deal. The hot breakfast was wonderful- they had an omelet station, a waffle stations, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, donuts, and juice/coffee. I wish they would have offered bacon or sausage, but again not that big of a deal considering all that is included in your room. The staff were very friendly, although when we asked for more towels, we were told they could only give us 3 more at a time- even though we had 5 people in a room. We had never been to Pigeon Forge and was unprepared for the tacky entertainment atmosphere. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but needed updating. This was the worse place that I stayed. We had issues were someone came to our door at 1 in the morning pounding on the door and then was trying to get in to our room. This is a good hotel for the price near Dollywood . It is a bit older and their are certainly nicer choices if you want to spend more money but we would go back especially when we are looking for a good location with good quality.
