The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was excellent Rooms were clean and the complimentary shampoo, soaps, etc., were of high quality. "Very Pleased"
We were very pleased with our stay at Waterside. The staff was welcoming and helpful with info regarding surrounding attractions. The room was a great value. The breakfast, laundry, and jacuzzi were nice addttions. We thoroughly enjlyed the view morninig and night from our room. The geese, ducks, and seagulls were entertaining on the bay. "Very Satisfied"

"great location for sunset coctails"
the hotel (motel) is a little old but clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. easy walk to "downtown" restaurants and shops. they have a big dock for boats and a couple of grilling areas, which is better than the restaurant options. DIY fresh shellfish.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I want to give the hotel a 5 star rating due to the GREAT customer service and location, but have mixed feelings about the property. So first, the good; service, breakfast, and location were all good. The bad was the comfort level of the beds, oh good god..hard as a rock and springy, diving board like, and lastly the ugly, the carpet was horrendous, […] reavealing many sins gone by for sure, and the whole room was tired looking, unappealing. "Very pleasant stay"
We chose the Waterside Inn because we were attending a wedding in Chincoteague. They people were very friendly, the room was large, clean and comfortable, and the property, especially at the end next to the bay, was lovely. It was great to sit on the balcony looking at the bay eating the free hot breakfast (which they had suggested we might like to […] take into our room and eat on the balcony - a great idea.) Our stay at the Waterside Inn Was very nice with great service. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and were given 2 wonderful choices. My only compalint would be that while a nice breakfast was offered there were only 2 tables to accommodate the guests, so most people ended up leaving with their food and taking it back to their room.
