I was very surprised at just how nice this hotel is! The decor is current and beautiful...the rooms were like small apartments, decorated nicely and very comfortable. The Embassy Suites in downtown Denver was a great getaway for a ladies weekend. The room was spacious and clean. The happy hour/managers reception was a lot of fun and festive. After my recent stay at the beautifully remodeled Embassy Suites - I will go straight back to them every time. This hotel is only a couple of years old so it is still new. The decor is extremely well done. The beds are the most comfortable I have slept in. The complimentary breakfast is, by far, the most extensive and tasteful I've experienced, especially the availability of an omelet station. The only two complaints, one of which is relatively minor is as follows. […] One, the facial tissues in the rooms are like sandpaper. They rip coming out of the dispenser. Normally it would not have been a noticeable item, but I had a cold and was using them the whole stay. They are very thin and rip. Hotel needs to consider upgrading to a better product. Two, some of the front desk personnel were not friendly. When we asked questions regarding transportation to get to the football stadium, the attitude came across as if we were an annoyance. Literally, no other guests were at the desk so we were not preventing them from waiting on other people. And we had other questions at other times. Two out of the three people we spoke with were rude. The third person was incredibly helpful. Having said all of that, would not hesitate to stay there again, especially if going to Mile High again. Amazing hotel. Everything was perfect, no complaints. Great location, great staff from the front desk to the housekeeping. Steps from 16th st mall and Starbucks right next door! Light rail stop 1 block away. Right next to the convention center.

My husband and I travel pretty frequently, so when I say that this was one of the nicest hotels in this price range, please understand that this is not lip service. We stayed here for 4 nights on vacation to Denver. The Embassy Suites was in a prime location downtown for nightlife and restaurants. We had easy access to the interstates and the hotel […] staff (Pete, you are the best!) was extremely helpful with information on sightseeing, road conditions, reservations, etc. We stayed on the 10th floor and the room was very clean and bright. Despite the fact it was in the middle of the city, the room was very quiet and peaceful. It wasn't home, but it was the next best thing. Satisfied overall. You can find cheaper parking than the valet if you look and have patience (it is the city after all) but make sure to read all the parking instructions so you don't get towed. Awesome location, everything is nearby and light rail options were fantastic. Breakfast was great even though the line was long. This is a good hotel. The people in the room next to us decided they were going to smoke. When we called and complained about it, management came and verified it, but did nothing about it. We had to experience 2 days of smoke smell in our room. Breakfast was sort of a cluster. Hotel should have someone or something communicating to guests that there […] are 3 separate lines. Came to Denver with friends for the Broncos/Lions game. Hotel was in a convenient location to go out downtown the night before the game. My fiance had broken ribs, and there was no reclining chair, but we did have a lounge type couch that he could sleep on. The bed was comfortable for the 10 seconds I got to enjoy it! My friends and I went to Denver to watch the Chargers take on the Broncos. We spent 3 nights at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Denver, and everything was perfect. The hotel is located in a great spot about 2 blocks away from the main drag, 16th street. There are tons of places to eat, drink, and shop for whatever you may need. Everything from the location to the decor to the staff was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. I've stayed at numerous Embassy Suites and have never had a bad experience. Every staff member I came in contact with was very helpful and attentive.

Hotel was BEAUTIFUL and the location was GREAT. My biggest issue was that they charged $28 per night for parking. I parked directly across the street and I mean directly across the street for $20 for 24 hours. I think since I'm paying to stay there it should have been only $10 per night. Very happy with this place, located next to 16th street which is a great place to enjoy a day or two. The Managers meetings in the evening and Breakfast buffet are amazing. The Valets set up travel to and from the Red Rocks for a concert and made our trip down to Denver very enjoyable.
