The room was pleasant and clean. I agree about the pillows being hard to use. It would be nice if there was a list of pool hours, breakfast times, etc in the room. You can hear the planes at night. "Just a step up from a Days Inn"
1) Perhaps it is my fault that I mistook "Inn and Suites" and pictures from hotels.com for a standard room to be a suite with a seperate room with a couch, etc. But because we booked via hotels.com we couldn't upgrade to a suite and they said there was nothing we could do about it, even though they had suites available. This made for a horrible night […] and awful end of our vacation, because we needed the suite for our children to get to bed at a decent time, instead we had to go to bed early with them as they laid on the floor and had to take our champagne back home with us. 2) There was a dead roach on the walkway feom the unloading area and a dead one in the hallway(at least they were dead). 3)Uncomfortable bed, 4) hotel was made cheaply, like Days Inn, even though the decor looked more inviting than a Days Inn., 5) The breakfast was better than other cheap hotels, but similar to a Days Inn hot breakfast, 6) The morning workers were friendly and greeted you. 7) We wish we had stayed Embassy Suites another night for the same rate. Product offered is a place to rest but the pillows on the bed make that a difficult proposition. The pillows are too big, that is they place your head too high off the mattress...as a result you are very likely to end up with neck ache the next morning if you use the pillows. I folded up part of the comforter and used as my pillow. We purchased this room thinking it would be more like a suite since it is at "Baymont Inn & Suites". Traveling with 2 children, a 4 year old and an 8 month old, we needed a refrigerator & micro wave. This is a new place and the nicest Baymont Inn we have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the staff was quick to replenish food and coffee items.
