Stayed on the 5th floor had a great view, I wouldn't suggest using the elevator though it seemed to in need of a lot of maintenance

Not a bad walk to convention center, about 10 min. At that point you can catch free 16th St Mall bus. It's an Econo Lodge so I think your expectations have to be realistic. The neighborhood may appear not to be nice, but I think it is relatively safe. I walked to and from Convention Center two nights and never felt unsafe in the least. Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk were friendly. Check-in was not a problem. The surrounding neighborhood was gritty. While this is no fault of the hotel's, bear that in mind. It is a good neighborhood to grab a drink and the City Grille up the street has awesome burgers and drink specials! If you are looking for an upgraded room, look elsewhere. […] The "lived in" bed spread might have been made around the same time teen angst was being captured by Nirvana. The T.V. was a trip. No local channels, yet random channels such as the NFL network and Spanish Telemundo. Overall, the room was clean, simply outdated. In the morning, I needed an ironing board. Again, staff was courteous and provided me with one. When I went to get breakfast, the bountiful selection was a bagel or....toast. Not even cereal? Give me a break. If you don't mind the graffiti on the building's fence post or the bring-yer-own-oats breakfast, this is a cheap night's stay on the south side of Denver! Read more

I used the hotel as a base while I walked/biked around the city. It was close enough to downtown that I was able to get around easily, but the neighborhood it is located in is full of "characters." Some people may be intimidated by some of the locals, but they kept to themselves mostly and I had no problems with the area. My room was larger than I expected […] and the furnishings were adequate. Because I was using the hotel simply as a base, all I really needed was a bed and a shower. The value in this hotel is that it was about half of the price of most of the other hotels in or near the downtown area. For the price we were happy enough. This is a no frills hotel. The room was dark, so bring some high wattage light bulbs. The breakfast is bagels and coffee, not much more. The people were nice though, and gave us a blow drier. The neighborhood is not great. Lots of bums and hard partying folks at the nearby clubs. This small hotel is very convenient to the 16th Street Mall and the Denver Center where I needed to be for the evening. The center city hotels are way above my means and the EconoLodge is what its name implies. I'll go back when I need to be in center city Denver again.

Staff was friendly and accommodating with a smile. No in room clothes irons/boards or hair dryers. Little parking on busy night. Room was clean with exception of stain on sheets and carpet. 2 a.m. late check-in was only possible because I called the night before. Upon arrival there was some concern that there weren't any rooms available, but as a result […] of the call the clerk had checked me in and already reserved a room. It was spacious for a 1 king bed room, but the bathroom was a bit small. The air conditioner was a bit noisy an not for light sleepers. Unfortunately, room 312 was on the north side of the 3rd floor and the next door building was a bar making it very loud throughout the night. Read more

Passei apenas uma noite, então deu para ficar, mas o hotel é muito simples e tá bem acabado. A internet continua sem funcionar e o quarto esta meio abandonado. Tem hotel bem próximo deste, com o mesmo preço, e bem melhor. Não ficaria nele de novo.
