Contemporary skyscrapers and the historic Lower Downtown (LoDo) make up downtown. Situated near Coors Field and the Pepsi Center, local bars and restaurants make LoDo the go-to place for Avalanche, Nuggets, and Rockies parties. The Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Denver Performing Arts Complex, and the I.M Pei-designed 16th Street Mall satisfy the desire for high culture and couture.

"Good Location 30 Years Outdated"
Location right off 25 is great. Hotel badly needs renovated. Elevator barely worked and needs extreme facelift. Room lighting very dim and layout obsolete. Non smoking room had cigarette remains on closet shelf. Pillows very uncomfy. Breakfast was good even though I saw them kick a guy out off the street who tried to sneak in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Unfortunately my stay started off on the wrong foot. I was not able to check in to my room when I arrived. After waiting three hours the room givin to me was not clean. Once a I got a clean room there was a domestic altercation in the lobby. The police questioned me and would not let me go back to me room after I answered a few questions. The shuttle […] was the biggest plus to this property. On my third day I became comfortable and the staff was apologetic. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Awful"
Dirty and didn't get any rest because it seemed dangerous. I guess the drunks, homeless and shady deals going down in the parking lot will make you feel that way. Only plus was the service but I think that was based on sympathy more than anything else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Value for price."
Had a great stay. Front Desk staff SUPER helpful and nice. Have been staying there for 2 years and for the price it's a great value. Renovations underway, concerns are being met. If you want 5 Star ,book 5 star, if you want a convinient , clean comfortable hotel and an affordable price. book here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the worst ever but"
I was very disappointed. This place was clean, but it is in very poor condition. Wallpaper pealing off the walls, paint pealing, etc. The neighborhood is also a let down. The price was quite low and so i probably should not have had high expectations. To be fair, i usually stay at high end hotels and booked this room only because no rooms were available […] at better hotels close to my conference. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK if it is the only option"
Compared to the alternative which was not having a place to stay, this dump was okay. The hotel is dated, tired and poorly maintained. It is near great tourist spots and downtown Denver, but in a rough part of town. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone - unless it is your only option.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"HORRIBLE!!!"
This hotel/motel was horrible! I would not recommend that you even let your dog stay here. The room was terrible, no A/C or heat and it was snowing outside! There were people repairing their cars in the parking lot as if this were someone's business for car repair and nightly noisy parties during the week. AWFUL!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel needs help!"
Well the convenience ot this place and room options could be really good if they would fix it up and clean it up. It appears management has gone minimalist here. I tried my first room card and it didnt work and then got another---realized it wasnt room card, the door latch didnt work right---after playing with lock and about kicking door in, i got in. […] I asked if they could fix and they said there is no maintenance. The rooms were comfortable and looked clean until i realized after walking barefoot and going in shower that the bottom of my feet were dirty from walking on carpet. the breakfast provided is not really truth in advertising. This place could really be a gem if someone cared! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Ramada Midtown Denver"
I can't believe a Major Brand would allow a business to continue to operate at such a sub-par level for so long. The room was disgusting. MOLD-DIRT-NASTY the best part was the outlets that were actually rigged by the cover plate to stay in place. Shows its economic struggle with maintenance quality. Great free breakfast, Hotel shuttle service, location and friendliness makes it easy to overlook the misgivings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location but not very clean"
The location was great, but the rooms were dark and not the cleanest. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling with mold on it. It was cheap, but not a place you want to walk around without shoes. Free parking was nice. The hotel bar could use a little help.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close Enough to Downtown"
I stayed in this hotel while attending a conference being held at the Colorado Convention Center. This hotel is close within walking distance to downtown Denver if you're not afraid of a little exercise, and the hotel offers a shuttle to the convention center if you're not inclined to walk (be warned, though: the shuttle only runs once an hour). I walked […] during daylight hours and in the dark, and I didn't feel threatened or uncomfortable -- i.e., the walk is a safe one. The common areas of the hotel are a bit shabby, but my room was quite nice. My only complaint is that the A.C. didn't work very well, and I was too hot during my stay. This hotel is located right off I-25, so if you're driving and need access to that highway, this is a good place to stay. There's not much nearby in terms of restaurants or grocery stores. There are two mini marts located within a stone's throw of the hotel. If I were visiting Denver on business in the summer, I'd definitely stay here again. The price was right, and my experience was positive. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ramada Midtown Denver"
At this hotel, you get what you pay for. Cons: It's really terrible looking from the outside. One of the shuttle drivers was a very angry person. He slammed doors a lot and was driving aggressively and screeching the tires. He also worked behind the desk. They are renovating, and some of the unrenovated parts are a bit dingy such as the elevator. Pros: […] They've renovated the lobby recently, and are renovating other areas. Our room itself was clean and plenty big enough, and we didn't hear any noise from other patrons either. They have a shuttle that will drive you wherever you want in downtown denver that leaves every hour, which is convenient. All the other employees at the Ramada were very friendly, and overall it was a good experience staying there. I would say this is a fine hotel if you are looking to explore Denver and won't be at the hotel much, but if you are looking for a hotel to relax at with lots of amenities this isn't the best choice. "Old hotel, mediocre rooms."
The staff was great, and the free breakfast was quite good as well. However, this is a very old hotel (I stayed in the main building). The first room I got was missing the shower curtain. Really? The second room, the window curtain was about to fall off the wall. The bathroom sink had plumbing issues. The trap and drainpipe were not securely connected […] to the sink, and fell off from time to time leaking water. I just laid a towel on the floor under the plumbing and connected the pipes when they came apart. I was unpacked and settled in and didn't feel like switching rooms again or dealing with a maintenance guy coming and going to fix the sink. The showerhead was quite low for my 5'10" frame. But the room was pretty clean, and the bed comfortable. I was in Denver by myself on business, so as far as that goes this was an "ok" hotel for a budget minded traveler looking to save a few bucks. It was conveniently located near everything I needed, so no complaints there. Would I stay there again? Maybe. Would I take my family there? Probably not... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Cheap but toilets don't work"
The toilet never once flushed on the first try... This hotel is cheap and not that clean. We had a cockroach. However, I don't mind such things that much... all I ask for is a working toilet which we did not have. But I had already switched rooms once due to the same problem, so I figured that all toilets would not be optimal. The staff is nice enough, […] though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The staff was great but the floors in the room were so bad. When you were not wearing anything on your feet it would take only a walk from the bed to bathroom and your feet were BLACK and I mean Black.... "Not as bad as reviews say"
After booking this hotel and reading some of the reveiws I was a little nervous about my stay, but I can now say thats its absolutely fine (the Ramada Midtown that is)... The confusion that has led to a lot of bad reviews is that there are actually two hotels (Ramada Midtown and the Knights Inn) next door to each other that are either owned by the […] same company or merging together. I stayed at both hotels during my stay, and I can see where all the bad reviews come from. Long story short, if you book this hotel make sure your room is at the RAMADA MIDTOWN not the Knights Inn and you'll be fine Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Poor service"
Hotel pictures were more impressive than the real thing. Hotel needs to be renovated. Lift went up at the speed of a turtle. Hotel promised more on internet site but didnt live up to its promises. Hotel Manager was a v rude person who had no idea how to talk to a paying customer.... There was a so called complimentary shuttle which promised to pick […] u up if called but we got shouted at by the same manager... Manager was threatening in his tone.He also said no children on shuttle which was total bull... The manger needs to changed or retrained. Breakfast was nice. Hotel receptionist told us about a limo service to airport provided by Hotel which cost $40 which we availed but the limo man took $75 from us and said hotel has misguided you. We felt robbed.
