The day we arrived was the day they switched from being a Ramada Inn to being a Best Western. They did not have my reservation but after several calls to Hotels.com ( who didn't know about the change) a hotels.com faxed them the reservation and they honored it. "Served its purpose, decent night's sleep"
So the hotel was fine... I needed a place to sleep for the night and it served that purpose. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfy and it served its purpose. I was disappointed that the hotel offered complimentary shuttle service and I needed to catch a 5am shuttle to the airport but the 5am and 4:30am shuttle were booked by the time I checked in […] around 8:30pm, so I had to take a 4am shuttle. I would think new years day they should put another shuttle on. I was not paying $30 for a cab. The wake up call was personal, and the gentleman was friendly. The lady at the front desk the night before seemed to not care too much about her job, but she did her job, and gave me my key. "The Almost Uncontrolable Heating/AC Unit - Scvary Huh?"
The outside temperature was -16F but the room wasa bit warm. I turned off the window unit because the fan was also a bit loud and the room temperature became comfortable. In the middle of the night I awoke to the sound of the window unit going on for about 1 minute, then off for about 1 minute, then on, then off, then on, then off. You get the picture.
