We first stayed at this hotel soon after it was open several years ago. The hotel rooms were still looking great, were quiet and very comfortable. WE didn't hear any planes from DIA. The pregnant girl at the front desk has absolutely no personality. She didn't greet me or even smile when I walked in. I felt like I was very unwelcome. I have stayed at this hotel previously, about 4 months ago. I stayed because the parking was free at the hotel for the week I stayed there. I called and checked to see if this was still the policy when I made my recent reservation, and was told the parking was still free. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport and has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. That said, it seems to be a good idea to call them to make sure the shuttle gets you. "Will not stay ever again"
We are a family of four with two young children, spending a three day weekend together in Denver. We chose this hotel for the rate and the 24 hour pool. Upon arrival when checked in and went to our room. Opened the door to find the room "under construction" paint and tools everywhere. We had to haul all our stuff back down to the lobby to tell them […] about our room, the front desk had no idea that room was even being worked on. After getting another room, we settle in. We find that this room has an old T.V not a flat panel like the first room would have. We get ready to go swimming. The pool is NOT heated and smelled funny. The staff was never available and I felt very rude. The morning we were scheduled to leave we got the receipt in the door. We had charged two pops, a bag of popcorn and a bag of chips to the room, we got a bill for a very large amount. The hotel charged us for parking!! Funny thing is we had to park about a block away every time we came back to the hotel because there was no available parking at the actual hotel. We explained this to the front desk were they said we would get credit back for the parking charge, well almost a week later we got a partial credit back and an additional charge.. needless to say i do NOT recommend this hotel and will NOT stay here ever again. The hotel was very run-down....nothing in our room matched- it was all mismatched, broken and worn out decor......the room was not the cleanest. Three different times I tried to get coffee from the morning continental breakfast area, and there was none- it was gone. They advertise an indoor pool and hot-tub, which is not true- the hot tub is boarded […] over and not available to be used at all. Very frustrating to be told to park on the street either in front of or behind the hotel because there was no parking space available! I would not stay here again at all.
