I'm sure it was a very nice hotel once. Now, it's tired. It was clean but had I paid the regular $98 and not the Hotel.com rate of $62, I'd have been mad. It's not a $100 room. "Good value"
Vey nice and clean with good service and saved me $20 a night. My meeting was in the Holiday Inn which was only about 1/2 block away. Had to walk in the snow to get there, but that was my choice to save the $20. Also this room had a microwave along with a fridge which saves on eating out the whole time you're there! "Stuck in Denver due to Canceled flight = stranded"
My biggest issue is that I finally arrived at the hotel after being stranded in a layover at the Denver airport for 13 hours, at 1am I was pretty tired. My next flight wasn't until after 11am so I wanted to sleep in until 7:30, and so got a wakeup call for that time. I was dead asleep until sometime after 5am when the ALARM CLOCK started blaring. "Probably the Worst in the Area Unfortunately"
Desk attendant couldn't be bothered with checking us in because he was watching something on the internet. Told us, it'll be just a minute and twenty minutes later he was ready for us(by the way, it was already 12:45 at night and we were exhausted). He then couldn't find our reservation, and when he did it was connected to some card that was not ours […] and we don't know whose it was(very disconcerting). We finally got our key to our room, believe it was 135, and low and behold...."SOMEONE ELSE WAS ALREADY STAYING IN THAT ROOM". Couldn't believe it, and felt sorry for the poor person who was certainly alarmed when we tried to enter at nearly 1:30 in the morning. Back to the desk, get another room and then had to deal with a fly that wouldn't let us sleep until we managed to lock it in the bathroom. Room was dingy and dirty, and we were surprised...had stayed at this same location about a year before and it was much better maintained and felt "clean". I was not at all happy with the hotel. We checked in at about 9:30 at night. We went up to our room and the TV did not work. They had some kind cable box attached to the tv, but the cords were to short for it to stay attached. No channels would come in. Also the phones did not work in our room. "Noisy and they don't care."
DON'T STAY HERE. You won't get any sleep. Even walking down the hallways, I could hear all kinds of fans, hums, machines, water running, all kinds of things. In my room, the thermostat wouldn't turn the air conditioner off, so it ran all night. There was a pipe in the wall that had water running all night. To make things worse, after my trip I had to […] get the shuttle back to the hotel to get my car. The receptionist told me I could get on a shuttle for the Days Inn, Ramada, or Holiday Inn. After almost an hour of waiting, (10 minutes away) I got on the shuttle that said Holiday Inn, which of course, took me 20 miles down the road to the wrong hotel. It was 11:30 at night, the driver said he wasn't going back to the airport, so I had to pay him to take me back and drop me off on Tower road. It was almost two hours from the time I called for a shuttle until I reached the hotel and cost me 20 bucks. I walked in weary tired and frustrated and explained what happened and the guy at the front desk barely looked up from his paperwork as he said, "not my problem, can't do anything for you." "Just wanting a good night's sleep!"
We got to the hotel looking forward to a good night's rest. After entering the room we thought at first that the air conditioning was a little loud. Then I turned the air off and the horribly loud noise continued. After hardly sleeping at all during the the night (the noise continued all night) we had to be up early and I mentioned this at the desk. […] She didn't know what the noise was but then thought it could have had something to do with the pool outside. It sounded like we were sitting inside a jet engine of a 747 Jet. The only major complaint I had is that there is not enough parking compared to the number of rooms. I stayed there duriing a major snow storm and had to park at another hotel. I neded up having to walk through 6 inches of snow (and still snowing) back down to the hotel. Fortunately I had driven in and had snowboots, coat, hat and gloves to hike through […] all the snow with. I always stay here or nearby the night before a flight since the airport is so far outside of downtown. Days Inn is fine for this purpose. Free Breakfast, Free Wi-Fi, Free shuttle to airport, and close to rental car returns if you need it. Rooms are clean, and even have a fridge if you need it. "Great airport hotel"
This was a very nice hotel with parking while I was out of town. The airport shuttle was on time and everything went very smooth. The ice machine on my floor was broken but no big deal, I went up one flight and had plenty of ice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
