    The room was clean and conveniently located (near the airport and close to a couple of the usual chain restaurants), though there are a few small... improvements that would have made the stay a lot better, especially as regards a dark and quiet room to sleep: the fridge (which faces the bed) motor was loud and only stopped running when turned completely off; and the idiot lights on the microwave, clocks, etc. were really bright and had to be covered with towels to darken the room enough to sleep.     The Fairfield Inn at DIA was very clean, the decor was modern yet comfortable, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The only thing I had an issue with was getting the door open—you really had to push it—but I think that's maybe my own problem.

    When we first checked in, the room we were given had an extremely bad mildew/moldy smell. They were very nice in switching rooms for us, and the second room was much better, but still had a hint of the mildew smell. The water in the shower never got hot so I ended up taking a luke warm shower, which was not pleasant.

    the staff was wonderful they let me have a late checkout which i appreciated I was not satisfied with my room for one side of me was an elevator and the other side an ice machine I didnt get any sleep I told the front door the next morning and they just said sorry

    We were not given the two queen beds we had booked. We had to take turns sleeping on the floor because one does not want there tween son sleeping in the same bed. We were told that if we wanted two beds we would have to pay for the upgrade even though our confirmation stated we would have two beds in our room.     I booked last minute and glad I did with the hotel. It is a little out of the way but again the location was in a good neighborhood. Even though it is near the airport there isn't any noise that bothered us. Kids loved the indoor pool and we loved the access to the internet. One of the evenings we went to the lobby and lounged around on their couches […] which was nice. Rooms are very kept up and nice and lots of room.     The only problem was that their every 15 minutes shuttle took 1.5 hours to show up - and two phone calls... so that was challenging late at night, and tired coming in from a different time zone. Otherwise, very nice hotel.
