Our first 2 nights were kinda rough - our room was 80 degrees due to no air conditioner in our room. We asked for a couple of fans and the Head of Housekeeping ended up moving us into a suite. "Ask if the AC is working before you book!"

Front desk staff very friendly, House keeping & others seemed to be afraid to look up or make any type of social contact. WHY??? Not aloud??? Room was clean however the pillows were like sleeping on a bag of balls & the maintenance personal do not take pride in their work. The caulking around the tub area makes it look cheap. "Adequate, well-priced, and convenient"
If you overlook the filthy carpet and old decor, this is a good option: well situated between the airport and downtown, with free shuttles to both; very nice free breakfast; comfortable beds; nice staff. "Poor Wireless and smoking ..."
Fair enough, I guess, but we really did not enjoy our stay here. The room was rather small. Somebody was smoking in the next door room and with the bathroom fan on they blew the smell right into our room. The wireless didn't work properly and the only solution the staff had was to come to the reception hall to work on the computer. The pool was okay, […] but unattended, with wet towels lying about the place. There was also a rather prominent latch with an unprotected wing nut sticking up on the paving around the pool, which eventually somebody is going to step on. The location of the hotel to down town was decent, but the room was one of the worst i've stayed in for a while. The accomodations are on the older side, but the biggest issue is the noise. We booked the Best Western Plus Denver located near the old airport because we had an early flight the next morning. Although it's still a drive of about 15 miles, it misses all the in-town traffic and is about 10 miles closer. It's still an easy drive into downtown for dinner.
