I booked this hotel as a place to stop on our vacation. We were just looking for somewhere along the road to stay and it had a good rating on Hotels.com... and was in the price range we were looking for. The room was great and the service was excellent but I must say the kicker was the breakfast. This hotel had a complimentary breakfast that was a FULL breakfast with a very polite and helpful wait staff. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone. My girls and I stayed here for a couple of nights just to get away together and swim and hang out. The restaurant is great (especially the free breakfast buffet) and the people in the lounge are very friendly as well. It has a wonderful scenic location with a pond and playground, and it's not surrounded by parking lots and fast food restaurants! The […] pool area is awesome! The pics show a more upscale hotel bt its dingy dust on counters carpets not vacumed and bad breakfast not continental at all same food everyday, nothing grand abt this "motel" lastly doublecharged after I booked with hotels.com

We love stopping at the Magnuson on our way to visit our mother. The pool inside is really neat and we love sitting in the restaurant with the view of the steamboat and garden.
