"Not Good"

"Tempurpedic"
Ask for a room with a tempurpedic bed. I have one at home, and it's nice to know what kind of sleep to expect. No lumps, good support. Our dog was accomodated well, no problem. We like to stop here between Grand Forks, ND and St Louis, MO. It's right at about the halfway point. Heading out south in the morning, there's a good Perkins for breakfast about […] half an hour down the road (in Albert Lea maybe?). "raise the bar, please"
I usually like a stay at a Microtel since it's a reliably clean and updated place. We were exhausted and it was easy to sleep. The place was quiet, which was great. The room was totally not up to Microtel standard. The mirror in the bathroom had something etched into it at face level and it looked vaguely lewd, so that was weird. There was beige something […] splattered on the back of the bathroom door...I choose to call it 'paint' . The place had a funky smell to it as well. Other than that, I found it just 'cheap'. Honestly we were only there for a few hours but the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I would have slept on the floor had I trusted it to be clean. They had a bench in the room which was nice but it had large white stains on it and there were spiders in the bathroom. I wouldnt stay there again. I'd say you get what you pay for. The hotel was run down and our room could have used some TLC. Carpet was coming up between the bathroom and entry way and overall the room seemed dreary.
